"The poison." Vaerion said, "It's there because the dragon's body wasn't buried."
"Is there a way to get rid of it?" I asked
"There is a burial rite that has to be performed for ancient dragons and then they have to be buried in the land of dragons." Vaerion sighed
"Ancient dragons have to be buried with a special ritual," Theo said, "If not, their dead bodies start turning everything around them into poison."
"The dragon was old, might be why the poison got limited to the forest." Vaerion said, "But I'm not sure how we're supposed to handle one that has spread so much poison…"
"But what just happened?" RoseMary said as she looked at my arms, "Why did her touch cause such an extreme reaction?" I was holding Pen in my embrace
"I don't know," I shook my head.
"Do you think that dragon has anything to do with the bringer of chaos?" Gimli asked
