Chapter 200 - 200. Heading under the sea

"How do you do that? You can't see the ghost alliance mark!" Teveli's eyes widened when he saw his shoulder through the transparent sleeve, then pulled up the sleeve of his dress just to reveal the alliance mark under the material.

"I told you it's a little Mullen magic." Marianne giggled.

"The metal I use hides the identifying marks on a person. It suppresses soul magic. And since there's a lot of soul magic in that mark on your shoulder, it's only natural that it suppresses it." Matthias shrugged. "Since you're going to the undersea-walkers, I think it's better to tell you in advance that their kind keeps very much to themselves. If they like you, it'll be a win-win situation, but if not." Here he sighed. "Then good luck finding out anything about them." The young man shrugged, then closed his eyes and with a sharp flash of light he assumed the form in which the Athamanas recognized him.

"Oh, and I'll send this to Insane Farmer." Marianne winked as she handed the armor to Rahul.

"Thank you." The boy said sincerely.

"When you get back, visit us." Matthias smiled as he stepped next to his wife. "May the spirits of the reefs and the spirits of the seas be with you." Matthias said farewell to the team.

"May the skies be with you, good luck to you children." Marianne said farewell and as the Athamanas left the forge under the sea, the Mullen couple looked after them worriedly. "Do you think they'll be okay?" Marianne asked, when the young hegins had already left.

"You know that none of us can know this, Annie. All we can do is trust in them." Matthias remarked and assumed his adult form, in which he really looked like Marianne's husband. "We gave them all the protection we could with the armor, dear. We can't do more than that." He said and kissed his wife. "Anyway, I don't think you need to worry about them, as I know Mukei, he'll definitely go after them, and with him they'll be safe. Don't worry, instead design me a set that won't make me stand out from the predators."

"Matthias?" The tailoress was surprised, and her husband just smiled.

"Maybe neither of us can go home, but you made yourself a set that won't make you stand out from my crowd, I'd like to return the gesture, dear." The blacksmith smiled.

"I love you!" Marianne whispered with tears in her eyes.

"I love you too!" Matthias repeated the sentence before another kiss.

In the week after the city burned, Kamu and Ajtony walked up and down the Immortal Mist headquarters every day, giving orders to everyone. They rearranged the archives, retrieved all the documents about the undersea-walkers and the ötandis, and what annoyed their assassins the most, they talked for hours, locked in the Ishán's office. Not even Biaskoncy was allowed to come in, even though he was the current Vietryk.

"So, are you in, Ajtony?" Kamu asked, closing the last drawer.

"Do you really have to ask that, Koál? It's been a while since our lives have been this interesting!" Ajtony laughed.

"Right! I thought so too. So!" Here Kamu turned around and lifted his ghost sword from its place, then smiled and handed it to Ajtony with the hilt. "Keep this for me, Szotvard!" He grinned.

"I have ten eyes on it!" The poison-mixing ghost announced and took the weapon, which he immediately tied to his waist.

"You don't have that many eyes." Kamu pursed his lips into a half-smile.

"It doesn't change the point." Ajtony shrugged. "Well, let's hand over the lead to Biaskoncy and then find our relatives before they leave without us." The ghost sighed, although he didn't need air anymore, habit is habit, this was still left from his life.

"You know, the problem is that knowing our luck, they've almost certainly already left." Kamu grimaced.

"I know, I was just trying to be positive." Ajtony chuckled as the Isháns of the Immortal Mist left the large office to seek out Biaskoncy, the current Vietryk, to tell him that he would be leading their organization alone again for a while and that if there was any trouble, he should just send someone after them.

While all this was happening in Floating Barracks, the ötandi soldier whom the Immortal Mist leader had left alive as a messenger last week had returned to Rimurrukh. And when the unfortunate survivor reported to the leader of his people, he feared that he would lose his head. However, the Great Leader did not punish the soldier, but instead called his councilors together.

"The fugitives are in the west, under the protection of the Immortal Mist. This cannot remain so! We must bring them back!" He announced. "Does anyone have an idea how to do this?" He asked.

"Your Majesty, may I suggest something?" One of the councilors asked, and the ruler nodded. "I know that His Majesty did not want to ask for outside help, but the rumor is that if someone wants to kidnap or capture someone, they have to ask the Razsian bandits." The man said, and the room fell silent at his words.

"We have no choice, we must find that solo as soon as possible." The ruler announced. "Send a message to Airotkiv!" He gave the order, after which his men immediately scattered.

While the ruler of Rimurrukh was consumed by such troubles, there were also riots among the undersea-walkers in the depths of the sea in the north. The currents that determined their everyday lives had completely changed in recent years. And they knew nothing about the great sea spirit that was responsible for them. Since every exploration team that was sent to the areas where, according to their stories, their people last found the spirit of the cold sea, disappeared without a trace and never returned.

Over the years, more than a hundred people had already died there, during the search and the ubdersea-walkers were no further at finding the spirit of the cold sea. As such, they began to create explanations for the disappearance of the highly respected creature. That's why, after all these years, they finally came to the conclusion that the only explanation for the disappearance of the sea spirit was that someone had kidnapped it. And the only people they knew of who might have wanted to kidnap the sea spirit were the undersea-walkers of the warm seas. So this year they started a war against the undersea-walkers of the warm seas.

However, the war was not only taking place deep in the seas. Far to the east, beyond Chájna, lies an island. On this island live the wild danovuses, known to the cháns. And these danovuses were facing an enemy they could not deal with. Ghosts.

It is true that in the past ten to twenty years, the battles had become smaller and more disorganized, but they were still continuous. Although the danovuses did not know it, the leader of the ghosts, who had previously attacked as an organized army, had disappeared exactly ten to twenty years ago. Thus, the command of the armies was left to a single ghost, who then got tired of having to lead the war alone.

"It is time for me to bring back the ghost king!" He announced to their troops, then set off west, a long journey lay ahead of him to find the one he was looking for and he did not know at that time that the ghost king had no desire to return to the battlefield.
