Chapter 49 - A Strange Turn

Katherine's POV

I woke up with the nastiest headache ever. A small groan escaped from my throat as I struggled to get out of bed, my hand placed over my forehead as if to ward off the pain.

I placed my feet gently on the bed and sighed as I slightly got dizzy. Damn. What happened last night? I didn't remember much asides from pulling Lisa and Agatha into a fierce embrace, eating, laughing and catching fun, until I started crying like I got a report that it was my last day on earth.

I had slept off afterward and whenever I sleep when dealing with emotional turmoil, it never ended well. I always said nonsense, blurted out secrets and talked incomprehensible shit in my sleep.

"Oooh!" I gasped, wondering if I had divulged everything to my friends.

Damn it. I couldn't remember anything. I was worse than a drunk.

I looked around and realized that I was in my room.

I gasped as I wondered how that had happened.
