Naruto left Naoto, his brothers, and Karin in a safe area within the Land of Fire, just a few hours away from Konoha.
Suigetsu and Kabuto also stayed with them; the latter, still a bit dizzy, collapsed to the ground when his feet finally touched solid earth, relieved to still be alive.
Naruto had decided to make this trip alone.
He didn't need company this time. With the chat group members talking all the time, he had more than enough.
Besides, he had a few things to discuss with them along the way.

When Madara and Mito finally ended their absurd argument, Naruto spoke again, determined to correct the overly summarized version Madara had given about her first encounter with Obito.
What Madara had said barely scratched the surface of a much darker, more complex story.
[Naruto Uzumaki: Madara carried out an incredibly twisted and calculated plan to manipulate Obito and turn him into her pawn. It all began during the Third Great Ninja War, when Obito was part of Team Minato, along with Kakashi and Rin. During a mission, the right half of Obito's body was crushed by a boulder while he was trying to save Kakashi. At that moment, Obito gave his left Sharingan to his best friend, Kakashi, as a birthday gift, since Kakashi had lost his own eye during a fight. After that, his teammates believed he had died... but he actually hadn't.
Madara, who had been watching him, secretly rescued him and took him to a cave. She replaced the destroyed part of his body with Hashirama's cells, which allowed him to survive, though he was very weakened. While he was recovering, Madara began to slowly indoctrinate him, speaking to him about the pain of the world, war, and her Infinite Tsukuyomi plan which, according to her, would bring true peace.
But Madara knew that wouldn't be enough to bring him over to her side. Using her influence from the shadows, she manipulated Kirigakure into kidnapping Rin Nohara, Obito's teammate and the love of his life. The Mist Ninjas sealed Isobu, the Three-Tails, inside her, intending to use her as a weapon. Once she returned to Konoha, the seal would break and the Bijū would destroy the village from within.
However, Rin discovered the plan. Aware of the disaster it could cause and determined to protect her village, she chose to sacrifice herself. During an ambush, she deliberately threw herself into Kakashi's Chidori, her friend and teammate, to force him to kill her before the Bijū could be released.
And just at that moment... Obito arrived. Still weak, but desperate to see his friends again. The first thing he saw was Kakashi piercing Rin's chest. In his mind, Rin had died because of Kakashi. His heart shattered. And Madara was right there, ready to pick up the pieces.
Obito, consumed by pain and rage, fell into darkness. From that day on, he accepted Madara's ideology and committed himself to her plan to destroy the world as it was... and replace it with a dream world where Rin was still alive.]
