Chapter 264 - Chapter 264: Master? Or Father?

Chapter 264: Master? Or Father?

Unlike the symbiotic contract, this master servant contract was a one sided agreement. Unlike the original soul beast contract, which allowed a soul master to bond with only one soul beast, this new contract had no such restrictions theoretically, as long as one's soul was strong enough, they could contract as many soul beasts as they wanted.

Most importantly, even if a contracted soul beast died, the soul master would suffer no repercussions whatsoever.

This type of contract was undoubtedly the ultimate dream for any human.

Without a doubt, Ye Cheng's newly developed master servant soul beast contract was entirely human centric, exposing the selfishness and cunning nature of humankind to its fullest extent.

If this contract were to spread, it would undoubtedly shatter any hopes of peace between humans and soul beasts pushing soul beasts into an inescapable abyss.

Thus, from the moment Ye Cheng created this contract, he had no intention of sharing it with others this was something he would keep for himself.

And now, the Blue Silver Emperor before him would become the first beneficiary of this master servant contract.

Of course, while he planned to contract her, Ye Cheng had no intention of immediately raising the Blue Silver Emperor to godhood that would be too reckless and could cause severe backlash.

After all, despite having reached 100,000 years, the Blue Silver Emperor's cultivation was still too low.

For a 100,000 year old soul beast to ascend straight to godhood, the missing cultivation levels would have to be supplemented from Ye Cheng's own energy and at his current One Ring God level, that was far too risky.

If he sacrificed his own cultivation to help her become a god now, it could very well cause his Divine Ring to collapse.

That would be the very definition of sacrificing the essential for the trivial.

Instead, his long term plan was to reach the Two Ring God level first. Only then would he have enough surplus power to safely help her ascend to godhood.

For now, he simply planned to sign the contract, transferring just enough power to push the Blue Silver Emperor to 200,000 years, allowing her to transform into a human form while bypassing the Heavenly Tribulation.

After all, taking the soul beast to human transformation path was a dead end, while becoming a fierce beast at 200,000 years meant facing a Heavenly Tribulation.

Thus, the best solution for now was:

Sign the contract, elevate her to 200,000 years, and ensure she avoids any major risks.

Gazing at the golden cocoon shimmering before him, Ye Cheng pressed his palms together, summoning his Divine Rings.

A magnificent, golden array formed by complex divine runes expanded beneath him, stretching over ten meters in diameter.

Compared to ordinary soul master rings, his Divine Rings radiated an unparalleled grandeur vast, intricate, and unfathomable.

Inside the cocoon, the Blue Silver Emperor seemed to sense his presence, emanating waves of curiosity and attachment.

Ye Cheng projected his divine consciousness, sending soothing emotions to calm her while imparting knowledge on how to form the contract.

After all, this contract required cooperation it could not be forced unilaterally.

The Blue Silver Emperor, still naive and unaware of the world, had no concept of rejection.

She knew only one thing

The person before her had saved her from that dark, lifeless cave, brought her to this wonderful place, and helped her grow stronger.

Thus, when Ye Cheng sent his message, she accepted it without hesitation.

Soon, she fully understood how to form the contract and knew exactly how to cooperate.

After a brief moment, the contract was ready.

Ye Cheng slowly extended his hand, while inside the golden cocoon, a thin vine stretched out, gently coiling around his palm.

The instant they made contact

The air trembled with invisible ripples!

A brilliant blue gold light pillar shot toward the sky!

At the same time, every Blue Silver Grass in the Sunset Forest began to sway gently, as if shuddering in excitement.

The Blue Gold Light represented the Blue Silver Emperor's power, carrying an immense life force a gift to the entire forest.

With a resounding boom, the towering blue gold light pillar shattered, scattering countless golden specks across the sky.

These light specks drifted through the air, spreading across the entire Sunset Forest.

Since the Blue Silver Emperor had received the forest's aid, it was only natural that, upon reaching 100,000 years, she would repay this kindness.

As the blue gold glow enveloped the entire forest, a gentle, motherly voice resonated throughout the land.

"To my fellow kin of the forest, I thank you for your sacrifice, for granting me a new life. This gift of Life's Radiance is my offering to you may you all one day achieve evolution."

This was not a spoken language it was a wave of pure soul energy, spreading across the entire forest.

Countless ordinary plants absorbed these blue gold light specks, undergoing mysterious transformations.

Put simply, these plants were now developing spiritual awareness gaining the potential to one day cultivate into sentient soul beasts.

Of course, this was merely the first step.

The Blue Silver Emperor's gift was only an opportunity whether these plants could truly evolve depended on their own fate.

If she wanted to instantly awaken all these plants into fully intelligent soul beasts, she would need to ascend to godhood, just like the Goddess of Life.

Meanwhile…

At the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, the enormous Blue Silver Grass that once covered the valley had now vanished

In its place stood a young woman.

Her entire body was bathed in a soft glow of life energy.

She wore a flowing blue gold gown, radiating noble elegance.

Her peerless beauty was accentuated by brilliant sapphire eyes, clear and flawless like pristine blue crystals.

Delicate golden ribbons fluttered around her skirt, and a faint fragrance lingered in the air.

Despite appearing around twenty years old, her bright, innocent eyes reflected pure curiosity as if she were an unspoiled child experiencing the world for the first time.

Clearly, while she had the body of an adult, her mind was still as naive as a young girl's.

She gazed at Ye Cheng with soft, inquisitive eyes, tilting her head slightly.

Then, she spoke her voice filled with childlike wonder.

"Should I call you Master? Or… Father?"

Hearing this, Ye Cheng raised an eyebrow, slightly taken aback.

Her clear, innocent eyes held no malice, no ulterior motives only pure attachment and curiosity.

"It seems you've inherited quite a few of my memories," Ye Cheng remarked in mild surprise.

Her coherent speech and logical thought process were far beyond his expectations.

The Blue Silver Emperor nodded thoughtfully.

"When we signed the contract, I received your basic knowledge and some memories related to myself."

"But don't worry I didn't gain access to any personal secrets you wouldn't want others to know."

Ye Cheng's gaze sharpened slightly.

"Then… you already know about your past life? Your origins? The previous Blue Silver Emperor, and the connection to Tang Hao and Tang San?"

She nodded again, calm and untroubled.

"Yes. Through your memories, I now fully understand my past… and the truth about Tang Hao and Tang San."

Ye Cheng rubbed his chin.

"Huh… that was unexpected."

He had not foreseen this side effect of the Master Servant Contract.

Fortunately, he had tested it first on the naive Blue Silver Emperor.

Had he used it on the Silver Dragon King or another powerful soul beast, things might have taken a very different turn…
