Aikari then took the new Nefier, and as he did, he could feel the place trembling. The ground is shaking, and he could see a reflection of him and Hikari around.
"What is happening here?"
Aikari and Hikari begin to look around, and that is when he realizes something is wrong there. The sky color is normal; however, their surroundings suddenly become silent, and the surface of the ground changes.
However, it just ends like that. There's nothing happening there. So they both then just leave. Without leaving any trace.
Because they're worried about what will happen to the kingdom if they're out for too long. worried about it, they both then quickly return to the kingdom.
(Professor Situation)
Professor slams the wall. He was out of ideas about how to claim the secret of the world. He was known as the most powerful in his world, yet he wasn't able to claim that power yet.
Knowing that it was out of the question, the professor then turned to Veget, Sutovi, and Trail.
"Hey, I guess it is time for us to really use that."
Everyone then looked at the card on the desk that the professor used just now. They all know that it was a card or access that they used to merge themselves. Combining all of their power together. Creating such a greater power.
The professor looked at it and smiled. He then says,
"Seems like the things are really coming to an end. If this is our final battle. Then I want it to use everything that I got."
The professor then looked at Trail and asked, "You still have that device with you, right?" Trail nods as he knows that the professor is referring to his strongest power-up. Trail then took all 3 pieces and asked the professor if there was anything that he wanted to do with them.
The professor then looked at it, and he then told Trail to give it to him. So as Trail gives it to him, the professor goes to the nearby table and begins to create a new device.
"I do not create this device. However, I'm sure that I can improve it further. There's more than this power that we should obtain to defeat them."
Professor begin to use his device and create a craft table and he uses his portal to teleport back to his base and take some material that he can do to analyze and create a new device.
Since it seems like it will be their final war, Professor must need to create a power that could go beyond Hikari and Aikari's limit. So they could take the secret power of that place.
"So here we go."
Professor begins to create a new driver and power up for Trail as Trail is sitting on the couch with the others.
Veget looked at how frustrated Trail and the others were, and he then chuckled. He tells everyone that he didn't use all of him yet and he was so sure that it was the same as everyone else. As they still have their final trump card that was mean to end this war.
Maybe this time, they will use it and end everything with their hand. As it was the most powerful power in their world, it even surpassed the power of a destroyer.
Veget then takes a mug and drinks.
"There's no need to worry about anything. This time we will definitely put an end to this, right? Professor."
Professor nods, and he continues to upgrade Trail Driver. They don't have any time limit there. So they can just take some time to figure everything out. So the professor then tells Veget and the others to maybe have their rest time or practice while they can.
Trail chuckled, and he then looked at Daburu and Sitovi. He says to Daburu that maybe they will do another miracle again like they did to save their world before.
He doesn't get why they went there to steal that power. But he love a challange and wishing to take on it as the others are too. He know the risk and want to take on it.
Trail looked at his phone and began to browse social media as he wanted to calm himself down. Everyone is now waiting for the professor to be done with his work.
(Aikari Situation)
After Aikari returned to his place, he lay on the bed and looked at the ceiling. Hikari and Arithia are currently busy talking with the villagers and giving them some aid that could help them out if something happens.
Hirumi then comes and holds his hand. Hirumi giggled and ask if Aikari are currently thinking about something. It seems like he was struggling with something. So Hirumi wanted to calm himself down.
Aikari thanked Hirumi for that, but he told Hirumi that there's nothing that she should worry about. It's just that there are a lot of things happening nowadays, and he actually thinks that he's beginning to forget, like the other side of the world doesn't exist. It feels like they just belong to that world. To the Quantum World, because for him, everything in there just feels real.
As Aikari was talking about that, Hirumi then began to climb on his body. Hirumi placed herself on top of Aikari's thighs, and she then said,
"Then let it be. We can just live here as long as we want. As long as both of us can be happy. Even though the war is happening now. All they need is to fight for the right side."
Aikari nods, and he then replies,
"Yeah, as long as we can people here. I don't like the people that are taking other people's things and making them theirs. Like what the other side is trying to do now. It feels really wrong, and I wanted to end it."
"I don't understand why they feel they have the right to steal something that belongs to the others when Hikari's kingdom and anyone here didn't try to do anything to them. Yet they're targeting the villagers and trying to kill them in order to get this place."
Hirumi smiled as she then asked Aikari,
"You know... We never kissed in that world. Since you always rejected my kiss and pushed me away. But maybe in this world, it would be different?"
As Aikari heard that, he then blushed and said that maybe they shouldn't. Hirumi then pouts as she hears that and tells Aikari that he is so mean. But that was the thing that she loved about Aikari.
She then leans against Aikari's shoulder and says.
"I may not know everything about you. Unlike Ardia. Somehow it makes me frustrated. But I know the bonds between you and her. I know that if she's still here. Then maybe you would prefer to be with her than me."
"But—"
Hirumi holds and hugs Aikari tighter than before.
"I know that you and she understand each other more than we did. You two have been together all this time that she has even become the most important memory of yours inside Quantum Memory."
"Even so, I want to save you like she did. She died long ago, but even with a short encounter with her, there are a lot of things that she told you. I want to be like that."
"To be able to do such a thing to you. I want to—"
Suddenly Aikari cut off the talk.
"Silly. You'll always be it. You may not be the important part of me. But you're the only one who's willing to take a risk.
Aikari pats Hirumi's back and says that it was okay. She doesn't need to be like Ardia. For him it's enough for her to be her. Because for Aikari everyone that meets him has their memories with him; it doesn't matter who it is.
Aikari then smiled and said,
"So if this will be my last stand. It will be our last journey. Then I want it to end all happily. I don't want to cost any circumstances. I want it to be me who will be taken away."
Hirumi then nods. She tells Aikari that she understands it. But yet it still hurts too much to accept so. Hirumi finally let go of Aikari and said, "I got it. But let's now focus on the current things we're in now." Hirumi is about to let go of Aikari. But out of nowhere, she suddenly slipped off and kissed Aikari. She slowly pulls off and says sorry.
However, Aikari didn't react as much as she expected and said, "Enough, maybe we will need to rest for now." Hirumi smiled and stood up. They both then went to the bed and took a nap. Not knowing what kind of future is awaiting them.
Maybe it will be something that they thought it was. But maybe it could be just something that they never thought about.
As Aikari is sleeping, he then has a dream.
Inside of that dream, he woke up in his real body where he is connected to the Quantum World. He saw that all of the other people are working on maintaining the Quantum World. But Aikari heard they said that they won't be able to do it if they disconnect the device from Aikari and Hirumi. Because both of them are the administrator of the Quantum World. Which left them with no option other than leaving it to Aikari and Hirumi.
So they all keep on their best to keep the Quantum World working. Because if it doesn't, then it means it will be a death of Aikari and Hirumi.
Aikari tried to call for them, but they weren't able to hear him. That's when Aikari looked at himself, and he saw he was somehow separated from his body. Aikari then quickly asks himself.
"Am I dead...?"
Aikari then tries to call for the people who are working on stabilizing the Quantum World. But none of them could hear him.
Aikari then continued to look around, and that's when he saw Hiroto. He looked at Hiroto and saw his serious expression. It looks like Hiroto is frustrated about something.
Aikari then got closer and saw Hiroto looking at the world panel. About all of the resources inside of that world. That world condition and everything.
It's weird that Hiroto looks worried when everything on the screen looks well. Then Aikari heard Hiroto say,
"Maybe everything looks well. But why doesn't it work as I thought it would? What is my fault here?"
Hiroto continued to type out the command. Try to stabilize everything back. But all of the commands were declined by the system.
It seems like there's something that makes the system decline the request from the computer there. But if they unplug the computer and cut the electricity, they're worried that will make the brainwaves of Hikari and Aimi, who are connected to the machine, be trapped inside or cut off from their brains. That will mean a death for the both of them.
Hiroto didn't want that to happen, as he knew it would mean a failure to him. That means the project that they've been working on all this time was a failure, and Hiroto didn't want that to happen.
Hiroto then stared at the screen and said,
"Maybe the only way out is inside there. We have nothing that we can do to help them. However, I believe in them that they can beat this challenge. This is not the first time for Hikari. He's definitely going to bring an end to this."
Hiroto continued to work on the system again. All he wants is to make sure that both of themare safe, and that's all. He knows something wrong is happening there. But yet he was not sure what it was. He guesses the only person who knows what is happening there can only be Aikari and Hirumi.
So Hiroto then just continues on stabilizing the Quantum World. He knows that the outcome will be good.
He knows that everything will be good, as he believes in Aikari. He was so sure that Aikari knew how the Quantum World worked more than him, as Hikari had been living for more than a year with Quantum Memory, which is the main part of the Quantum World.
Aikari then saw how much trust that Hiroto put in him. But it also reminds him of the trust that Akaru, Ageru, and the hackers put in him. How much they believed in him. So he then understoodthat it was all up to him now.
Aikari then returns to his body, where he is lying on the bed and the girl is next to him. A girl that he's supposed to save in there. Aikari wasn't sure why it needed to be him.
But if fate bought him there, then all he needs to do is to clear it. To make sure that everything will be alright.
