Chapter 5 - chapter 5 the silent warning

Alia was swimming in the rooftop pool when suddenly her sister, Sophia, appeared and said, "Sister, I need to talk to you."

Alia looked surprised and asked, "What is it, Sophia? What are you trying to say?"

But before Sophia could say anything, fear flashed across her face, and she quickly left. Alia felt a bit uneasy.

Then, as Alia looked ahead, she noticed a drone flying in the sky. She was startled to see that the drone was focused on her laptop, which was placed near the poolside. Alia immediately realized that the drone was possibly connected to her laptop, and something was being done remotely. She quickly grabbed her laptop and started working on it. Within seconds, the drone crashed to the ground.

As the drone fell, Alia caught sight of a man standing in the distance, but before she could react, he quickly disappeared inside the house. Her mind was filled with questions. She could feel that something secretive was happening around her, and a new danger was approaching.

The Party and the Mysterious Encounter

The next morning, Alia was heading to a party. Her friend Ena was there, and they started chatting. After some time, Ena left, and Alia stayed to enjoy the party atmosphere.

Suddenly, a strange man approached her and handed her something before walking away. Alia was puzzled as she watched him leave-his eyes carried a strange intensity.

She called out to him, stopping him. Slowly, she approached him and placed her hand on his head, as if trying to understand something. The man didn't react and simply walked away, but Alia could sense that something was off about him.

The people at the party watched in confusion. Shortly after, the man suddenly collapsed and lost consciousness. The entire crowd gasped in shock, and Alia felt a wave of fear wash over her. She realized that this man was not ordinary-there was some hidden danger connected to him.

As Alia stood in silence, her mind was overwhelmed with questions. The way everyone stared at the unconscious man seemed unusual. But instead of reacting, she smirked mysteriously as if she knew something she wasn't willing to reveal.

Taking a deep breath, Alia left the party and got into her car, heading home. As she drove, her mind raced with thoughts.

Who was that man? Why did he act so strangely?

She knew this was just the beginning, and bigger events were waiting for her.

When she arrived home, she paused for a moment before entering. Closing the door behind her, she stood still, her mysterious smile still lingering. Today's events had left her with more questions than answers. But she knew-her smile held an unknown power, preparing her for what was to come.

Alia and Viktor - A New Encounter

As Alia was driving, suddenly, Viktor appeared beside her car. She stopped the vehicle and lowered the window, looking at him with a calm yet unreadable expression.

Viktor slowly stepped forward and asked, "What is your name?"

Alia remained silent for a moment before replying in a cold tone, "My name is Alia. And yours?"

Viktor felt slightly annoyed. Alia's response was too composed, too mysterious. There was something both intriguing and unsettling about the way she spoke.

After a pause, Viktor smirked and said, "I'm Viktor."

There was a flicker of intensity in his eyes. Alia held his gaze with her sharp, tiger-like eyes. There was an air of mystery between them. She knew why Viktor had approached her. Though slightly irritated, she kept her composure, aware that this was a situation that required her sharpest instincts.

For a moment, silence filled the air between them, but it felt like the beginning of something dangerous.

Viktor suddenly asked, "How old are you?"

Alia coolly replied, "I'm 24."

Viktor smirked, "Oh? You look much younger than that."

Alia's eyes flickered with irritation, but she kept her emotions in check. She didn't appreciate the remark. Viktor might have meant it as a joke, but to Alia, it felt like an insult.

Viktor leaned slightly forward and continued, "How tall are you?"

Alia, maintaining her calm, responded, "Six feet."

Viktor raised an eyebrow and chuckled, "Impressive."

Alia could sense that Viktor was testing her, but she refused to be affected by his words. She knew there was a hidden meaning behind his questions, but she ignored them and stayed focused.

After a brief silence, Alia asked in a curious yet composed tone, "And you?"

Viktor looked at her with slight amusement before saying, "I'm 35."

Alia clenched her jaw slightly. She still hadn't forgotten Viktor's earlier remark about her looking younger than her age. But instead of reacting, she continued answering his questions calmly.

Viktor paused before adding, "You look really young, age doesn't seem to matter much for you."

Alia felt her annoyance growing, but instead of responding, she simply started her car and drove away, ignoring Viktor. She refused to let his words affect her.

Viktor smirked as he watched her leave.

A Tense Exchange

After a moment of silence, Alia suddenly asked Viktor, "How tall are you?"

Viktor straightened up slightly, then answered with a smirk, "I'm 6 feet 2 inches."

Alia gave him a brief glance before turning away, unfazed. Height meant nothing to her. She knew that intelligence, strength, and confidence were far more important than physical attributes.

Viktor chuckled and continued following her. But he knew-Alia was not someone who could be easily swayed.

Then, Viktor smirked and teasingly said, "Princess, are you getting mad? I know exactly how tall you are. You're 5 feet 7 inches."

Alia suddenly stopped in her tracks. Her eyes darkened with irritation. Viktor had just challenged her pride.

He went on, "Carrying you would be so easy, don't you think?"

Alia clenched her fists, but instead of reacting, she took a deep breath and locked eyes with him. She wasn't going to let him get to her, but she knew-her response would come at the right time.

Viktor watched her carefully, a playful yet calculating glint in his eyes. He then smirked again and said, "You know, if I really wanted to carry you, what would you do about it?"

Alia's voice was steady, filled with an underlying challenge. "If you want to, go ahead. But remember-I will never let myself be taken by someone like you."

There was a silent warning in her words. Viktor might not have understood its full meaning yet, but Alia was already shaping her next move.

This was just the beginning
