Chapter 103 - chapter 100The Song, the Knife, and the Silence

The Cold Room and the Whisper of Betrayal

Alia stands in a corner of the cold, silent room. A gust of wind causes the leaves outside the window to stir, but she doesn't take her eyes off of Anassia, who is facing a plan shrouded in the shadow of betrayal.

Alia (softly, with a strange coldness in her voice):

"You can't go back now, Anassia."

Anassia (with a slight doubt, but still holding onto belief):

"Alia, I'm by your side. You know that."

Alia slowly pulls a small electric shock device from her pocket. Before Anassia can even comprehend—

"ZAP!"

A small roar of the electric shock fills the room. Anassia screams and falls, her eyes squinted, her limbs twitching.

Alia (with a cold smile):

"This isn't for you, Anassia. This is for me."

She quickly rushes towards Anassia and pulls out a rope to bind her. Anassia is weakened, trying to break free, but the pressure of the tight rope ultimately renders her helpless.

Alia tightens the rope, then slowly leans forward and says—

"I know you wanted to protect me… but from now on, you are my captive."

Alia places her cold eyes on Anassia, eyes now filled only with despair and pain. Alia stands before Anassia, having securely tied the ropes. Her expression is cold, yet intense.

Alia (in Russian, with a calm but firm voice):

"Ты не понимаешь, что это необходимо. Я должна защитить себя."

(You don't understand that this is necessary. I must protect myself.)

Anassia stares with wide eyes; she doesn't fully understand the language, but the unknown severity in Alia's eyes frightens her.

Anassia (in a faint voice, in English):

"Alia, what's happening? Why are you doing this?"

Alia suddenly speaks again in Russian:

"Если ты хочешь выжить, ты будешь слушать меня."

(If you want to survive, you will listen to me.)

Alia slowly advances towards Anassia, fire and darkness burning in her eyes simultaneously. Anassia, still bound, is trembling, but Alia's presence seems to steady her slightly.

Alia suddenly lunges into Anassia's lap. She slowly presses her lips against Anassia's, very calmly but intimately.

Anassia is startled, staring with wide eyes. Alia says softly, in Russian:

"Ты так красива... слишком красива, чтобы быть моей."

(You are so beautiful… too beautiful to be mine.)

Alia smiles, but the smile is tinged with sadness. Her hand touches Anassia's cheek, and she repeats:

"Но ты моя. И никто не сможет тебя забрать."

(But you are mine. And no one will be able to take you away.)

Anassia's eyes well up with tears, but she can't speak—a strange attraction mixed with fear. Alia slowly turns away and whispers—

"Сейчас начнется всё по-настоящему."

(Now everything truly begins.)

Alia steps back slightly, looking deeply into Anassia's eyes. Her voice softens a little, speaking in Russian:

"Я хочу тебе кое-что сказать... Когда я была маленькой, рядом с Виктором, я часто смотрела на тебя."

(I want to tell you something... When I was little, next to Victor, I often used to look at you.)

Anassia stares with wide eyes, attempting to say something, but Alia suddenly bursts into laughter—so loud that the walls of the room seem to shake. She laughs and steps back slightly, a flash of madness in her eyes.

Alia (laughing, again in Russian):

"Это было странно, правда? Но теперь... всё изменилось."

(That was strange, wasn't it? But now... everything has changed.)

A Shift in Language and the Unveiling Truth

Following Alia's sudden laughter, Anassia slowly meets her gaze and speaks in Korean:

"뭐 하려는 거야?"

(What are you trying to do?)

Alia remains still for a moment, then slowly smiles, whispering with a tremor-filled voice in Russian:

"Я хочу показать тебе правду... ту, что ты боишься увидеть."

(I want to show you the truth... the one you are afraid to see.)

Anassia internally wonders exactly what truth, and how great a danger is signaled by Alia's transformation. The air in the room grows heavier, the difference in their languages seeming to herald the start of an unspoken war.

Alia slowly moves in front of Anassia, with a strange depth in her eyes. She takes a breath, and starts to sing in Russian—

Alia (singing in Russian):

Я знаю...

(I know…)

There is a strange melody, melancholy, and a hint of threat mixed in her voice.

(I know that you're afraid…)

Anassia stares in surprise, a coldness spreading through her body, as the sound of the song seems to reveal the fear within her.

(But I am here, and you won't escape.)

Alia's eyes blaze, and she slowly continues the song, her voice like a mysterious curse. Alia continues to sing in an even deeper tone, the words gradually filling the room:

Я знаю, что ты чувствуешь...

(I know what you feel…)

(Your fear is my light in the darkness.)

(You think you can leave…)

(But I will find you in any shadow.)

The fire in Alia's eyes flares up; she slowly pushes herself up towards Anassia—a mysterious threat and enchantment mixed in her voice.

(This game has begun, and I will play until the end...)

Anassia's chest is trembling; she tries to manage her fear, but the depth in Alia's eyes leaves her stunned.

Sudden Silence – Demonic Love

A sudden silence falls in the room. There is no longer any hesitation in Alia's eyes—only a calm, cold madness.

She slowly takes out a shining knife from below her waist. The blade reflects a faint light. Anassia is stunned, eyes wide with shock, but her body is bound—she cannot react.

Alia approaches her, very calmly, as if nothing is amiss. She brings her head near Anassia's neck... slowly plants a soft kiss on her lips.

Then she whispers (in Russian):

"Я люблю тебя… по-своему."

(I love you… in my own way.)

"Ш-ш-ш..."

(Shh...)

"Это будет красиво."

(It will be beautiful.)

"Тихо, как смерть."

(Silent… like death.)

The blade of the knife lightly grazes Anassia's neck—not a long, deep cut, but a small, light scratch, from which blood slowly oozes.

Anassia trembles, tears in her eyes, a mixture of fear and betrayal.

Alia slowly touches the blood with her finger and puts it to her mouth.

Then, she unzips her black jacket and says with a cold mind:

"Ты всегда был сладким..."

(You were always sweet...)

She wipes the blood and puts the knife in her jacket.

Blood Bond and Final Declaration

Blood is slowly dripping from the faint cut line on Anassia's neck. Alia takes that blood on her finger and slowly touches it to her tongue. Her eyes close; she seems to be having a heavenly experience—at least in her own mind.

A twisted smile appears on her lips.

Alia (opening her eyes, with a chilling voice):

"Хммм... вкусно..."

(Hmm... delicious...)

(She adds in English)

"Just like me… warm, rich… and a little bitter."

She laughs—a distorted, calm, unnatural laugh. Alia whispers in a low voice:

"Точно как я..."

(Just like me...)

She tastes another drop of blood, as if it's her favorite wine. A single tear is in the corner of her eye—but it is not of sorrow, but of manic joy.

Alia (touching her lips, looking at Anassia):

"Теперь ты со мной. Связаны кровью."

(Now you are with me. Bound by blood.)

Anassia is trembling—there is no fear in her eyes now, but a kind of silent sorrow. She knows—this person is no longer Alia. This is a monster named love.

Alia suddenly grabs Anassia's hair tightly and pulls—there is no affection, only a cruel determination. Anassia's eyes widen, she is shaking, but unable to speak. A kind of cold, ruthless smile is on Alia's face.

Alia (in Russian, lowering her voice):

"Ты говорил, что моя дорога всегда будет открыта..."

(You said my path would always be open...)

She moves closer, pulling the hair even tighter—

"Теперь я закрою её сама."

(Now I will close it myself.)

Alia suddenly laughs distractedly—the laugh is not of joy, but a sound of terrifying liberation. Anassia's eyes are dazed, like a bear's; she understands that the words are not just memories for Alia—they could also be the announcement of a real plan.

Alia slowly pushes Anassia down to sit in front of everyone, releasing her hair and meeting her eyes (more harshly):

"Ты думал, что я буду ждать твоего пощады? Нет. Теперь ты увидишь, что значит идти по моему пути."

(You thought I would wait for your mercy? No. Now you will see what it means to follow my path.)

Anassia tries to catch her breath, but only manages to whisper—

"Alia… is this… your plan?" (Alia… is this… your plan?)

Alia merely nods, an odd stillness in her eyes—there is no softness now. She gets up and closes the door; they are the only two left in the chamber—Alia is now taking charge, and at the same time, with a shudder-inducing power.
