Everett cast him a murderous glare before taking a deep breath.
"Your work is done. Merge back with me. There's no need to keep messing around," he commanded coldly.
At Everett's words, Eryx's gaze immediately darkened, and he looked straight at him.
"Tsk. You must be trying to make me angry. Merge with who? I'm no longer a piece of your soul. I'm whole now—and I was born properly by a human. So don't tell me I should merge with you," he retorted coldly.
Everett smirked. "Rubbish. Do you even believe what you're saying? Even if you were born through a human now, the fact remains—you're still a piece of my soul. That will never change, I created you anyway" he declared.
"You're pushing your luck!" Eryx snapped, his anger bursting forth.
"Before the full moon, you better know what's good for you," Everett remarked coolly.
