Chapter 310 - Chapter 310: Preparation

Chapter 310: Preparation

Spirit City.

Han Li put down his pen with a weary sigh as the last document was sent out. It had been a full half month of non stop work, but the issues caused by the release of Xuantian Technique were finally mostly resolved.

Of course, he had received a generous reward in return. Drowning in an ocean of faith power, Han Li was experiencing both pain and joy.

Behind him, Xiu'er gently cradled his head, her hands pressing softly against his temples and forehead, massaging him with expert precision, making him feel utterly relaxed.

After a while, Han Li took her hand and walked toward their residence.

Had it not been for all these trivial matters, he would have already left Spirit City by now. He had already reached Rank 80, and staying here was completely meaningless for his growth.

Meanwhile, in the Star Dou Forest, where he had been keeping watch, that person had vanished and had yet to reappear, leaving Han Li uncertain about the situation.

Regardless, he had to make a trip there.

And he wasn't going alone this time.

He planned to take the entire Worship Hall with him, including the most reclusive member.

What was the point of praying every day? The Angel God wasn't responding. It was far more meaningful to accompany him as a bodyguard which had been the plan all along.

As for Spirit City, he would leave it for Bibi Dong to enjoy. He was curious how would she react once she realized he had emptied the Worship Hall?

Speaking of which, he still had to attend Qian Renxue's succession ceremony.

He was about to leave anyway, so if she saw so many people gathered, she'd probably be quite happy, right?

Han Li shook his head. He'd deal with that later. For now, it was time to go home and eat.

The Next Morning

Han Li stepped into the Worship Hall.

Half a day later, he and Qian Daoliu walked out together.

Surprisingly, Qian Daoliu looked a little dazed.

Han Li's news was simply too shocking.

Several locations for Divine Inheritances?!

Qian Daoliu hadn't expected this at all. More than that, he noticed something strange while Han Li shared this information, he didn't seem particularly excited about it.

That was hard for Qian Daoliu to accept.

This was Divine Inheritance!

Meanwhile, Han Li was feeling a little frustrated. His plans had changed. He hadn't expected the Divine Realm to hand out so many options all at once.

Since they had been given, he couldn't just let them go to waste. He had to at least try.

Of course, just because they could approach these inheritances didn't mean the Worship Hall members could actually qualify. Still, even a small boost in power was valuable.

The real problem lay with the Angel God.

Han Li had a strong suspicion that it restricted potential inheritors based on their Martial Souls. Otherwise, why had no one in the Worship Hall ever encountered a God's Trial?

Look at Sea God Island all of its guardians had undergone God's Trials!

Compared to them, the Worship Hall's members were downright miserable. They had reached Super Douluo purely through their own talent, without any divine guidance.

But that was fine.

Now that Han Li was here, their suffering days were over.

With so many Divine Inheritance sites, even if they only completed a fraction of each trial, they could still forcefully push themselves to Ultimate Douluo level!

That realization was exactly why Qian Daoliu looked so dazed.

As for potential dangers?

There were none.

They didn't even need soul rings just a simple power boost. It wasn't an issue at all.

The solution had already been prepared.

Han Li's Sacrifice Method wasn't just for increasing strength it could also purify the body through the power of rules.

Even if the Divine Realm tried to interfere, it would be meaningless.

Otherwise, why would he let Xiu'er and the others undergo God's Trials with such confidence?

Han Li had already tested it himself.

At worst, they'd experience temporary weakness, but compared to the power gain, it was insignificant.

Qian Daoliu remained silent for a long time before finally speaking:

"I will protect you, no matter what."

Han Li smiled. "I believe you, Elder. After this trip, how about we visit Sea God Island as well?"

Qian Daoliu raised an eyebrow. "Sea God Island?"

Why go there?

With so many inheritances in hand, why bother with Sea God's Trial? The island wasn't exactly welcoming to mainland soul masters.

Han Li scratched his head. "Hasn't Renxue told you yet? Actually… I have the core of the Sea God's inheritance in my hands."

Qian Daoliu turned and gave him a long, unreadable look.

He said nothing.

Sea God's successor, Bo Saixi, huh…?

It had been a long time since he last saw her.

He didn't know who Han Li planned to send for Sea God's inheritance or whether they would succeed.

But Renxue had already started her own God's Trial.

This might be his last chance to visit Sea God Island.

"Alright."

Qian Daoliu's gaze flickered for a moment before he nodded firmly.

Han Li sighed in relief. Elder Qian was still quite reliable.

No personal grudges. No selfishness.

That was exactly what he needed.

"Good, then prepare the others. We'll leave in three days right after Renxue's succession ceremony."

Everything was falling into place.

Han Li still had other God Trials to assign, but for Ye LingLing, Sea God Island was the best choice.

The Nine Colored Goddess' Trial might be easier, but if she could aim for something greater, why not?

After all, in Douluo's divine inheritance system, aside from a few specific god positions, most weren't restricted by martial souls. If Blue Silver Grass could inherit the Sea God's position, then there was no reason why Nine Heart Begonia couldn't, right?

However, Bo Saixi was not as easy to deal with as Qian Daoliu. Ye LingLing had no personal connection to her, and Bo Saixi wasn't the type to sacrifice herself for someone else's gain.

It had to be remembered that in the original story, Bo Saixi had once harbored the intent to kill Tang San. If it weren't for the fact that Tang San was Tang Chen's great grandson, he might have been long gone.

Although Han Li expected his own strength to increase significantly after this journey and even held Tang Chen as leverage it would still be best if Elder Qian personally stepped in to exert some pressure.

Besides, if they ended up meeting the Sea God, they could also negotiate the details of the god trials. As long as the conditions were met, the Sea God had always been quite flexible.

Han Li had faith in his moral bottom line.

After parting ways with Qian Daoliu, Han Li returned home.

Everything was ready it was time to set sail.

Over the next few days, Han Li visited Ma Xiunuo and Elder Tao in advance, saying his goodbyes while leaving behind plenty of gifts.

And so, on the morning of the fourth day, the entire Worship Hall vanished from Spirit City.

When Bibi Dong learned of this, she remained silent for a long time before diving into the Rakshasa Realm.

Tian Dou City, Imperial Palace

Qian Renxue, having dropped her disguise, looked at Han Li who had brought along an entire legion of people and for a moment, she didn't know what to say.

Were you planning to move the entire Worship Hall to Tian Dou City?!

Aside from Jin Crocodile and two others still busy confiscating assets, nearly all of the Worship Hall members were here.

Tian Dou barely even looked like an empire anymore.

"Surprised? Happy?" Han Li teased.

Qian Renxue let out a sigh. "What are you up to? Planning to unify the continent?"

Han Li waved his hand decisively. "How could I? I'm a messenger of peace."

Start a war?

Absolutely not.

His faith power was skyrocketing daily, so why would he cut off his own revenue stream?

"I'm here for your succession ceremony and also heading to Star Dou Forest. Otherwise, I'm afraid there might be a beast tide."

His words were half joking, half serious.

Qian Renxue gave him a long look. "The succession ceremony is just an afterthought for you, isn't it?"

Han Li laughed. "It's all the same, all the same."

She rolled her eyes but didn't argue.

Truth be told, she was actually quite happy.

"Leaving that woman alone in Spirit City… are you sure that won't be a problem?"

She still wasn't sure how to deal with Bibi Dong her feelings toward her were complicated.

"Don't worry, she's busy too. Busy trying to become a god before us."

Although Han Li couldn't monitor the Rakshasa Realm directly, he kept close tabs on Bibi Dong.

Hearing this, Qian Renxue tightened her lips.

"I will be the fastest one."

Her expression was determined, though Han Li wasn't sure whether she was telling him or reassuring herself.

Han Li smiled but didn't comment.

The Worship Hall members had already been arranged by Qian Renxue, but Han Li and the others couldn't return to their previous residence.

After the release of Xuantian Technique, that courtyard had become a pilgrimage site in Tian Dou City the same as his old home in Nuoding City.

Now, both locations were practically shrines, with people visiting daily.

Han Li had no interest in sitting inside like some kind of Buddha statue, receiving prayers.

All he needed was faith power, not sincere devotion.

Fortunately, both Dugu Bo and the Ye Family had plenty of properties, so finding a place to stay wasn't a problem.

On the second day of their arrival, Jin Crocodile and the others also reached Tian Dou City.

The final cleanup of Haotian Sect was nearly complete, and the news Qian Daoliu had brought them left them no choice but to comply.

The Death of Emperor Xue Ye

The passing of Emperor Xue Ye did not bring much sadness or unrest to the citizens of Tian Dou.

To them, the highly talented Crown Prince, Xue Qinghe, was about to ascend the throne.

Moreover, the Holy Son of Spirit Hall had already shown his stance, making the situation even clearer.

Under the watchful eyes of the entire continent, Xue Qinghe's succession ceremony began.

With Han Li personally attending, the event reached its peak significance.

Of course, the shadow of Haotian Sect loomed over the ceremony.

The sect's destruction had finally become public knowledge.

Surprisingly, Qian Renxue turned out to be much kinder than Han Li had expected.

Instead of a public execution, Tang Yuehua died silently in her cell.

And so, Haotian Sect faded into history.

Sure, there might still be some survivors scattered across the land, but they no longer mattered.

Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect's Withdrawal

No one knew what Ning Fengzhi had realized, but after the ceremony, the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect withdrew from Tian Dou's politics.

They seemed disinterested in interfering with the empire any further.

Now that Ning Fengzhi had officially become Imperial Tutor, he was far less active than before.

A Final Step Before Star Dou Forest

On the same day the ceremony ended, Han Li vanished from Tian Dou City.

By the time anyone noticed, he had reappeared at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well in Sunset Forest.

Before heading to Star Dou Forest, he needed one final power boost.
