Chapter 211 - Chapter 211: Martial Soul Second Awakening Plan

Chapter 211: Martial Soul Second Awakening Plan

In truth, the best method the Ontology Sect had for triggering a Body Martial Soul's second awakening had always been to send individuals into the ocean, forcing them into life threatening situations to stimulate their martial soul's potential. This approach had the highest success rate.

Although Soul Land II never provided detailed explanations, Soul Land III mentioned that the Ontology Sect's first generation founder achieved his second awakening in the depths of the ocean, where the extreme conditions forced his martial soul to evolve, making him the first soul master in history to undergo a second awakening.

Following the principle of "ancestral methods must not be altered," it was likely that Du Busi himself had also used this method. As a result, the Ontology Sect's disciple assessments often involved testing how long a person could endure in deep sea conditions. The longer they lasted, the greater their potential, as it indicated that their body harbored significant latent power that required prolonged pressure to be fully unleashed.

While the training methods within the Ontology Sect varied, their core principle remained the same: stimulating a soul master's latent abilities and fully unlocking the mysteries of the human body to achieve greater power.

Of course, seeking strength always carried risks.

Statistically, the mortality rate for Ontology Sect soul masters attempting to awaken their martial soul via deep sea survival training was as high as 30%.

The sect's members were known for their unwavering pursuit of power, willing to risk death for the chance at a second awakening. The higher the awakening tier, the greater the boost in combat strength especially the Gold tier awakening, which resulted in a near quantum leap in power.

Huo Yuhao closed The Secrets of the Ontology Sect and looked at the nearby lake, his thoughts churning.

"Alright, I'm ready. It's time to undergo my second awakening. I recall that Tang Wulin spent forty nine days triggering the second awakening of his Blue Silver Grass, evolving it into the Blue Silver Emperor.

"Forty nine days is a critical threshold. If someone achieves their awakening within this period, they are considered an elite talent within the Ontology Sect. If it takes another forty nine days, it means their potential is relatively mediocre.

"Of course, the second awakening of Blue Silver Grass differs somewhat from that of a Body Martial Soul, but the fundamental process is still about martial soul evolution.

"Hmm, I should bring some academy members along for their own awakenings. According to Mu Ye, the Ontology Sect's leader in Soul Land III, this deep sea training method can stimulate the second awakening of any martial soul. It's a refined technique developed through years of experimentation.

"However, in Soul Land II, Du Busi and my past self never seemed to realize this method could also work for non Body Martial Soul users. Otherwise, I would have seen them using the Ontology Sect's ancestral techniques to awaken the martial souls of others."

Huo Yuhao pondered for a moment, deciding that he should contact Jing Hongchen and Kong Deming to propose the implementation of the Martial Soul Second Awakening Plan.

If everyone could achieve a second awakening, it would significantly enhance their overall strength.

When war inevitably broke out, it would give Shrek Academy an enormous surprise.

As for allowing Jing Hongchen or Kong Deming to attempt a second awakening themselves? That was certainly possible.

After all, the second awakening of a martial soul wasn't restricted by age or cultivation level. Being exceptionally strong didn't mean one couldn't undergo a second awakening it all depended on physical constitution and bloodline potential.

That said, the stronger the soul master, the harder it would be to push them into a life or death situation severe enough to trigger their latent potential.

With this in mind, he immediately set off to find Jing Hongchen.

As for creating soul spirits for the Ontology Sect, that could wait.

The Ontology Sect members were currently scouring the continent for high quality soul beasts to use for their spirits. Once Huo Yuhao arrived at the sect, he would be able to help them manufacture soul spirits directly.

However, finding suitable soul beasts was no simple task it would take time.

Right now, his top priority was taking people to the ocean and guiding them through the second awakening process. Naturally, priority would be given to those closest to him and those who shared common interests.

Dean's Office

Sunlight streamed through the windows, casting rectangular patterns on the floor. The soft rustling of turning pages echoed within the office.

Jing Hongchen was flipping through account records, a trace of frustration in his expression.

Though post battle assessments showed that no one had been killed or seriously injured only minor wounds were reported the cost of rebuilding Mingde Hall would still be substantial.

Who was the high ranking traitor that had leaked intel to the Ontology Sect, leading to the attack on Mingde Hall?

The thought irritated him. He snapped the account book shut. If he ever found out who the traitor was, he would make sure to deal with them thoroughly.

"Grandfather, what did His Majesty say?" Meng Hongchen asked.

"His Majesty?" Jing Hongchen sighed. "Though he reprimanded me over this incident, I didn't receive any real punishment, thanks to Elder Kong's intervention.

"Elder Kong's status is simply too high even His Majesty must show him respect.

"But ultimately, it was Huo Yuhao's Foresight that allowed us to prepare in advance, preventing casualties at Mingde Hall.

"Had the Ontology Sect attacked while we were unprepared, we would have suffered severe losses, which would have been disastrous."

Meng Hongchen nodded in agreement. "Grandfather, if Mingde Hall had been devastated, you might have lost your position as its head. Huo Yuhao's contributions are undeniable."

Jing Hongchen glanced at her and nodded. "Exactly. Huo Yuhao's foresight saved countless lives. Those researchers are immensely grateful to him after all, no one wants to die unexpectedly while working on soul tools.

"His warning quite literally saved their lives."

Just then, the sharp sound of hurried footsteps echoed outside. A firm knock knock followed.

"Come in," Jing Hongchen called.

The door swung open, and Huo Yuhao stepped inside.

Seeing him, Jing Hongchen smiled. "Huo Yuhao, if it's you, you don't need to knock. Formalities like that are just unnecessary etiquette.

"Now, tell me what brings you here? If I can help, I certainly will."

Meng Hongchen's eyes widened slightly.

Her grandfather had always emphasized the importance of respect when addressing one's elders and superiors. He had drilled into her that formalities were essential.

Yet now, here he was, telling Huo Yuhao the exact opposite?

Wasn't this a double standard?

Huo Yuhao got straight to the point. "Dean, I have mastered the method for achieving a second martial soul awakening. I need some people to assist me."

Jing Hongchen froze.

Then, as the realization hit him, he could no longer sit still. The smile on his face vanished, replaced by an expression of utter shock.
