"Yes!" Gu Aixi kissed her dad's chin, playing with his hair with her chubby little hands, her big eyes glancing at the car, "Daddy, where's the toy?"
Gu Yikun pinched her cheek, "So you didn't miss Daddy, you want the toy instead."
Gu Aixi flashed her signature smile, knowing her dad would give her a toy.
An Junxi walked over, "Yikun."
Gu Yikun stared at her forehead, the smile on his face faded, "How did you get hurt?"
In just over ten days she had lost a lot of weight, her cheeks were bloodless, and the bandage on her forehead made his heart ache; it didn't look like a minor issue.
An Junxi touched her forehead with her hand, "I accidentally bumped into something, it's not serious, I can take off the bandage soon."
