When Mu Shini was about to take the cup, she realized it was too hot and quickly pulled back.
Bo Sishen's quick reflexes saved the day. He hadn't completely let go of the cup yet, so he steadily caught it. However, the scalding hot red sugar water spilled a bit, splashing onto the back of his hand.
Seeing this, Mu Shini's heart skipped a beat in fright. "Uncle, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to."
"It's alright."
Bo Sishen didn't seem to mind at all and said lightly, "Is it too hot?"
Mu Shini nodded, "Yes."
Bo Sishen raised the cup to his lips and gently blew on it for a while.
Then he handed it to her. "Red sugar water is best when it's hot."
As he handed it over, he glanced down and saw Mu Shini's dazed eyes, looking at him in disbelief.
"What, are you mesmerized by me? Weren't you quite adamant about not wanting me to have feelings for you?"
Bo Sishen's words broke the silence.
