Lu Qing stood up and walked to her. His tall figure blocked the sunlight in front of her, casting a shadow. With the light behind him, it was impossible to see the expression on his face.
He suddenly leaned down, and the unexpected closeness made her jump. Her body instinctively leaned back.
His hand rested on the armrest of the chair, effectively trapping her within his reach, leaving her almost no room to evade.
She could only look at him cautiously and defensively.
"Say it again."
"Lu Qing."
"Very good."
He narrowed his eyes at her, and there seemed to be a flicker of light in them. Her jade-like face, flawless skin, and soft, pink lips slightly curved upward carried a mix of playfulness and sensuality.
He raised a hand, letting the pad of his finger lightly brush against her lips.
"Remember, don't call me the wrong name again in the future."
