Ke Fei and Ye Yongying weren't familiar with each other; they were just colleagues who recognized each other, much like any ordinary coworkers.
The expansive sixth floor was entirely filled with meeting rooms for the artists' department, so it was quite common for managers and artists to come here for meetings.
Ye Yongying didn't think much of it.
Ke Fei wasn't particularly warm either, giving her a slight nod, as if he couldn't remember her name.
The two passed by each other.
Ye Yongying walked a few steps ahead and suddenly, out of nowhere, thought of Sheng Tang's smug expression. Could it be that she was planning to ask Ke Fei to be her manager?
At this thought, Ye Yongying almost laughed out loud: how utterly presumptuous.
She walked a few more steps, feeling somewhat uneasy, and looked back.
By coincidence, she saw Ke Fei pushing open a meeting room door, the same room where Sheng Tang and Director Cheng were still inside, the very same room she had just left.
