Yun was sweeping up the shattered pieces in the bedroom when the door suddenly opened.
She stared in surprise at Xia Zhennan as he walked in.
"M-Master." Yun called out nervously.
Xia Zhennan's brows furrowed slightly, his face dark as he looked at Yun: "I've reminded you many times not to be too anxious around Xin'er in front of Fengjun!"
"I-I know!"
"Xin'er just returned and you followed her immediately. What if she suspects something? My father-in-law is still in the hospital. If anything goes wrong now, all our efforts over the years will be for nothing!"
"I-I know, I'm sorry, Master…" Yun replied softly, looking at Xia Zhennan.
Xia Zhennan looked at Yun. Despite being in her forties, she still retained her charm; especially her timid and obedient demeanor in front of him, which he found very satisfying.
This was a feeling he couldn't get from Mrs. Xia.
Mrs. Xia always made her own decisions, sometimes not even caring about his opinions.
