Tong Keke sat in the classroom, feeling somewhat stifled. Who exactly was that wealthy woman who came to find her just now?

Could it really be possible that she was her parent? Tong Keke let out a mocking laugh. She was already eighteen years old—no matter the connection, she would absolutely never acknowledge any relationship.

Tong Keke still retained plenty of memories from her childhood. She remembered the cold, imposing walls of the orphanage, the impatient and harsh expressions of the teachers there when they scolded her, and most vividly, the lonely and helpless feeling of lying on a hospital bed all by herself when she was sick.

Thinking about all of this, tears welled up in Tong Keke's eyes, ready to spill over.

After her afternoon classes ended, Tong Keke indeed saw the anxious middle-aged wealthy woman waiting for her in the dormitory hallway once again. Her expression immediately darkened, and with a cold demeanor, she strode quickly toward her dorm room door.
