Cole laughed wildly.
"I've worked so hard for so many years, and I was so close to my success. Why? Why did you have to ruin it all?!"
Olive was so scared that tears fell from her eyes, and she could feel the knife on her neck cutting her skin. However, she couldn't feel the pain; only fear gripped her heart.
"Alright, fine; since you won't let me go, then we will just die together! Together!"
He pushed the knife an inch deeper as he yelled that, and Rainy hurried forward to calm him.
"Cole, what you've done up until now were minor things, but if you commit murder now, there's really no turning back!"
He sneered coldly.
"Turning back? I couldn't do that even if I wanted to!"
She looked at the sobbing Larry beside her and the frightened Olive. She gritted her teeth and declared firmly, "This is all my fault. If it weren't for me, my sister wouldn't have rebelled against you. If you want to kill someone, kill me instead.
"I am willing to exchange places with her."
