Chapter 190 - Chapter 190 – Mecha

"The average strength of ordinary law enforcement officers is around Level 4 Soul Ring, equipped with mechas. Patrols are generally in groups of three."

Xie Xie was shocked. "You're even trying to scheme against your own people?"

Gu Yue stood with her hands behind her back and flicked her head slightly, letting her hair flutter. "I haven't even fought against a mecha before."

Gu You's mouth twitched slightly. He regretted choosing to come with them.

"Who dares cause trouble at the Tiandou Spirit Transmission Tower?" At that moment, an electronic voice sounded, and not far off, three huge black silhouettes roared as they approached.

One purple, two yellow — three mechas.

Gu Yue's judgment was spot on; it was a law enforcement squad of three mechas. However, she hadn't mentioned any purple mecha.

The purple mecha flying in front was about eight meters tall, with very sleek lines, small and slender in shape, no visible spirit-guided cannons or such devices, but carrying a pair of large swords on its back.

Generally, mechas are divided into five categories, like soul rings for soul masters, distinguished by colors representing strength.

White spirit-guided mechas are basic models, usually used for training, capable of basic movement control, equipped with basic energy, suitable for short combat but unable to integrate soul force or cooperate with spirit pets. They are purely manually controlled.

Yellow spirit-guided mechas are standard models, used by most military forces. They have better control, ordinary energy installation, possibly dual-driven by mana and soul force, can cooperate simply with spirit pets. Also manually controlled.

Purple spirit-guided mechas are advanced models, also called exclusive mechas, designed and customized according to the user's own martial soul traits. They have stronger control and are more compatible with the user's martial soul, typically personal exclusive mechas. They cooperate tacitly with spirit pets and are still manually controlled.

Black spirit-guided mechas are elite models, made with special materials, special designs, and special production, with spirit pets partially integrated, almost like part of the body. Each black elite mecha can only have one owner; if it loses its owner, no one else can use it. To control an elite mecha, one needs at least a Soul Emperor rank cultivation and spiritual power above the Spirit Sea level, able to assist control with spiritual power to perform more difficult maneuvers.

Red spirit-guided mechas are god-level mechas, which must be handcrafted, requiring the highest quality materials and forging techniques, completely fused with the user's own essence blood and martial soul, forming a living, vital existence. They are truly part of the user's life, genuine god-level mechas, sometimes even merging the spirit pet and mecha into one.

Usually, the military officially uses yellow spirit-guided mechas. Purple mechas are always personal due to their high cost. Unless it's a particularly wealthy organization like the Spirit Transmission Tower, no one would build such mechas for regular staff.

Purple mechas are designed entirely according to the soul master's own abilities, greatly enhancing their combat and survival capabilities.

If the soul master piloting this purple mecha is Level 4 Soul Ring, then with the mecha, he has at least Level 5 Soul King combat power, and defense beyond that of a Level 5 Soul King.

The three mechas landed. The pilots were somewhat stunned to see the group of young boys and girls in front of them.

Earlier, they sensed soul force fluctuations via monitoring. According to the Spirit Transmission Tower's rules, soul force and any spirit-guided weapons are forbidden within a thousand meters of the tower, so they appeared here, only to find a few kids instead.

"What are you little brats doing? Who recklessly used soul force to trigger the alarm?" The leader's voice came from the purple mecha, scolding.

"It's him!" Ye Xinglan suddenly raised her hand, pointing at Gu You.

Aminos...

Gu You was speechless.

"You'll come with us; the others will notify your instructor to come pick you up." The purple mecha extended a mechanical giant hand, pointing at Gu You.

Gu You gave a bitter smile, bowed his head obediently, and said, "Sorry, officer, I was wrong. Could you please not take me away?"

The officer snorted coldly. "The Spirit Transmission Tower's authority is inviolable. Rules are rules. Come with me. Don't worry, if you tell us what happened, when your instructor comes to pick you up, you won't be severely punished."

Gu You raised his head with an innocent look. "What do you mean by not severely?"

The officer grew impatient. "At most, a few hundred coins."

"A fine?" Gu You's voice immediately rose a few octaves. "I have no money, but I have one life. Money is my life. Come and catch me if you can."

He was still owing several hundred billion. Forget a hundred, he wouldn't pay even a dime.

Behind Gu You, a pair of dragon wings spread out as he flew toward Ye Xinglan.

Now it was Ye Xinglan's turn to be flustered — this guy...

"Huh?" The officer inside the purple mecha was stunned. Such a little kid—shouldn't he be full of awe and obedient when seeing the mecha? What's going on?

But his duty was clear; he couldn't let Gu You run away! Light flashed behind the mecha, and it lunged toward Gu You, a large mechanical hand reaching out.

In chasing Gu You, he made a mistake: separating from the other two comrades.

Ye Xinglan moved instantly; her body sprang up, fast as lightning, rushing straight at one of the yellow mechas. Gu Yue circled her hands in the air and launched a giant fireball toward the other yellow mecha. Xie Xie silently vanished into thin air.

Xu Xiaoyan raised her ice staff, quickly forming an ice spear.

They moved quickly and suddenly. The officers inside the yellow mechas' gazes were still fixed on the purple mecha piloted by Gu You.

Ye Xinglan was the fastest. The Star God Sword shone brilliantly as her body and sword became one. Using her first soul skill, she targeted the cockpit directly.

Before the yellow mecha could react, she was already in front of it.

The mecha could only raise its right hand to block her attack with its armor.

"Ding!" A dazzling light flashed, like a star exploding. Sparks flew wildly from the mecha's right arm. The fierce soul force violently damaged the mecha's right arm.

Then Ye Xinglan used the momentum to soar into the sky, turning into a golden star ascending as the third soul ring's light blazed brilliantly.

This was her strongest soul skill currently. The terrifying sword intent carried an incredibly sharp aura. As her soul force exploded, the nearby Spirit Transmission Tower immediately sounded an alarm.

On the other side, Gu Yue's fireball had arrived. The yellow mecha reacted quickly, its mechanical right arm raised in defense, and a light shield appeared to block the fireball.

The fireball exploded, scattering light and sparks everywhere...
