Chapter 19 "Gambling on a Critical Time"
With the GOC currently suffering and having no advantages at the ground except the coastline on the east as their last stand with almost all city was liberated under our rules, many of our armed militia discovered multiple GOC scientific facilities that were being used, with many of the subjects the local people, the majority of the victim were teenagers and even children.
They were being tested as subjects, many were injected with many unknown chemicals, with very low chances to survive, and those who survived doesn't last very long, with either their head suddenly get blown up by a grenade or they're suddenly bleeding badly from their mouth, eyes and even their vital organs were bleeding badly.
Our medic states this was a cross-breed virus from Ebola and Rabies, but we don't know why the GOC created this virus. Are they trying to attempt a biological warfare now? But why and where they will do that, to us? Or what? Many of us were confused with the GOC attempting to do a biological warfare and if they do that, then all of us will be fucked because ordinary gas mask will never work for something like that and civilians are in danger by that.
After discovering many of the dead bodies of teenagers and children, most of our soldiers immediately bury the dead bodies with proper respect, some hold their tears but eventually cry because them remembering their children at home can be like this. One of the dead bodies attract me, it was a 5 year old girl, hugging her teddy bear until her last breath, it really caught me and I decided to carry the girl into somewhere else. I found a spot under a tree that reminds me when I was little, playing around with my big brother, digging the soil, I put the girl bodies inside before burying it, as I bury her body, I take her from her hands, and after the body was fully covered by dirt, I put the bear on top of the graves, before leaving, I take a look one last time and I leave, leaving the girl to forever rest in the afterlife.
A few hours have past and I still remember the girl's grave, it sits very tight at my mind, before Kiriyama approaches me from behind. "You look like you're having trouble, care to share with me?" I look at her, faking a smile "it's fine, I doesn't have any problem or trouble, also you look like you brought some news with you, aren't you?"
Kiriyama only chuckle at me as she nods "Yeah, I brought some news, moreover it's about the GOC that doesn't have any chance of winning here after we cripple their supply lines and it's likely that with this, we have more than enough time to fully prepare or plan another attack on other places."
I nod and look at her. "I see, well it should make us undisturbed by another one of the GOC's attempt to invade. And is there any information where is our next operation is located?" Kiriyama looks at me while pulling out a document out of her jacket "You know the kingdom of Siam? Yeah our next operation is there, but its possibly to be directed somewhere else because we have many potential allies to be recruited under our banner against the GOC's world government and the reason our leader has chosen the Kingdom of Siam is because right now they on a civil war that was led by Nattawut Wongpanyawut, they are anti-Junta group but we must review who benefits those group." I chuckle and look at her. "This is how we feel to be everyone's enemy. Even when there's a small spark, we must try to take that one small spark along with us to create a bigger explosion to destroy a wall and spark a revolution to the entire world, what a big price isn't?" Kiriyama burst laugh at me "Yes, that's how we feel when the entire world is our enemy."
As we're chatting, we forgot the stress we endure on our sides, sometimes its feels like we have forgotten all the stress or that stress never happened.
Kiriyama looks at me as she pulls out a chlorine gas canister from her jacket pocket "My personal scientist creates chlorines gas canister, should we use it against the GOC Lee Han Min?"
I take the Canister taking a closer look "Yeah, we can use it, they make war crimes, then why we don't do the same to them? After all we're just returning the favors back to them, aren't we?" Kiriyama chucklea and looks at me. "Yeah, Right, well then I try to ask my scientist to mass produce it so we can make the GOC choke on their own chemicals as we avenge those who was used by the GOC scientist as test subject." I nod before stand up prepare to go back to my barrack. "Yeah, try to mass produce it, I want to sleep right now, my mental state's very shaken after seeing the victims from the test subject." Kiriyama nods, understanding how much I endured seeing kids and children being used as test subjects are not a good way to see in a long term. She let me go to my barracks to rest, after I left, she took out a paperclip from her pocket. "I think I should have documented it for evidence for Human Right Watch Organization."
Meanwhile inside the GOC stationary commands post, the commandant and some of the GOC officers was frustrated as how things keep going worse for them, if they don't react or respond immediately, they will get kicked out of this place and end up with their comrades in a terrible condition. General Hans Peter Kissinger was calm as he handled this situation. He doesn't look stressed much compared to the others, as he lights his cigarette in his mouth, he let out a long sigh before pin point a location in the map. "I want to do some gamble with our situation. This location I pointed is the critical position and very important for the success of our operation in this continent."
The other officers disagree and they don't want to strain their resources that's already severely dying within this operation, they want to leave this continent and prepare their equipments before attempting a naval invasion at this continent again, which General Hans Peter Kissinger disagree when he hears this. He stated "If you invade with a naval invasion here, the moment we step out of this continent, they will prepare their defense and the chance of our success for that naval invasion is 0%. You must remember this continent have massive forest surrounding it, and when we attempt to invade, they will make us bleed severely, do you want that or what?"
The moment the officer heard about this, they slowly nodd as General Hans Peter Kissinger ask them "How many APC divisions aee available and ready to fight?"
The officer answer "Only 2 sirs."
General Hans Peter Kissinger nod and speak with them "Good, prepare them, I want to test my gamble to this location which the Chaos Insurgency used as outpost and behind those outposts was a city, capturing this will be our advantage to push deeper again. Prepared yourselves, understand?"
The other officers can only nod and immediately relay all the information for an upcoming invasion, some thought this is just a suicide mission, but some argue they can win this war. When the dice was thrown onto the table, there's nothing to undo it, you must be ready and prepared for the consequences of your action. They state that as they announce it to their soldier.
In another place, the GOC had built a railway connecting from Brussels to Tokyo with the GOC Section Organizations that handle railway "Railway Express Union", uniting and create their logistics from Europe to Asia through the Middle East was easier, the constructions have begun from summer 2028, 2 years prior, it was an attempt collaboration between HFC and GOC at the beginning. But after HFC decided to leave the treaty because its favors the GOC too much, they don't want to participate and the GOC massively handle the construction with spending over 10 billion dollars because these railways they states can be use by civilian commoner by using bullet train to reach the other place, which is good to hear when we don't know their true motives after all. Our agents can't access this information because they don't have the identity card, those who attempt to infiltrate was taken into sector echo and left there to rot until God decide to take their poor soul into after life.
As the sky lights up with the sun, that's when the GOC station Aircraft Carriers immediately begin their operation, they refuel they're Light Bombers Aircraft Carriers, as the sun get much higher so does the aircraft carrier marshal that start direct the bomber on the runaway, some cheers hoping they will end this endless war quickly, and when the green light was seen, the bomber immediately fly along with some Close air support aircraft.
As the aircraft pass by, so does the ground unit, the APC engine immediately roars and join with the attack, the dice was again thrown again at the table, as the dice was spinning, deciding whoever's in favor, that's when people hope the dice favors one side instead of another, that's when God intervenes and decides the dice to favors who now.
