Chapter 2 - THE AWAKENING OF THE DRAGON HEIR 2ND CHAPTER

Story: Aryan's Awakening and Oath

After the intense battle at the Country Level Tournament, everyone now realizes that Aryan possesses a power unlike any other. Whispers spread through the stadium—his abilities are not normal. Before Aryan could process everything, a mysterious figure steps forward. His presence alone commands attention.

"I am Aryan's guardian," the figure declares. His words shake the crowd, but the tournament officials guess what happened here.

Aryan's grandfather had long foreseen this moment. The family head had entrusted this guardian with a mission: if Aryan ever broke the ancient seal on his powers without control, he must intervene and take Aryan to the family head before it became a danger to him and those around him. Now, the time had come.

Without delay, Aryan's guardian takes him to his ancestors' house, a sacred place filled with the echoes of the past. Meanwhile, the entire family is filled with worry. The seal placed on Aryan's power was never meant to be repaired—it was a one-time limit. If Aryan could not control his awakening, it could lead to his destruction.

But against all expectations, Aryan wakes up completely unharmed. Not only is he fine, but he feels stronger than ever. Relief washes over his family, but shock lingers in their hearts. How did Aryan control such immense power so easily?

His grandfather steps forward, his wise eyes searching Aryan's soul. "How do you feel, my child?"

Aryan clenches his fists, feeling the surge of energy within him. "I feel... good. Something inside me is growing, and it feels right."

The realization dawns on the old man. Aryan's body has perfectly harmonized with the power of their ancestors. He carries the bloodline of two mighty dragons—one of fire, one of water. Instead of conflicting, these opposing forces coexist within him, synchronized in perfect balance.

His grandfather smiles with both pride and caution. "You possess great power, Aryan. But remember, power is not for self-recognition. It is meant to help others. Right now, you cannot access its full potential, but even at your current state, you are stronger than most children your age. Be wise in how you use it."

But Aryan, overwhelmed with excitement, barely listens. He is too thrilled about his newfound strength, dreaming of all the ways he can use it. That night, after everyone leaves his room, his curiosity gets the better of him. He sneaks outside to the family training grounds, eager to test his abilities.

Spotting his cousin nearby, Aryan decides to try his power. But in his excitement, he underestimates its strength. The moment he unleashes a burst of energy, it strikes his cousin, sending him flying backward. Pain and fear fill his cousin's eyes as he collapses.

Aryan freezes. Guilt crashes down on him. This wasn't what he wanted. He had let his emotions take over, and someone got hurt because of it. His hands tremble as he rushes to his cousin's side.

That night, Aryan makes a solemn oath—he will never use his power carelessly. Not for play. Not for self-glory. Only when it is truly needed.

From this moment, Aryan begins a journey not just to master his abilities, but to understand the true meaning of strength. His destiny is far greater than he ever imagined. But will he be ready when the time comes?
