Chapter 234 - Flesh Bone Lord: Part Four

They walked through the passageway and happened upon a chamber where there was the skull of some kind of animal with a massive bone pyramid in the middle, along with some text written in front of it in a book similar to what they had found before.

"Oh, this has so many refinement recipes in it," Fang Yuan said, flitting through it smiling. With these recipes, the Gu Yue clan, if they moved here, could indeed become masters of the Bone Path and start manufacturing limitless amounts of those Rank 3 and Rank 2 Gu worms. It made such a thing to be a truly viable concept. "It says here that he tried to refine the Bone Flesh Unity Gu in his earlier life, but had failed," Fang Yuan said, frowning.

He had thought that the Bone Flesh Unity Gu would have already been refined by the time they got here, but it looked like there was still some work to be done.

"It says we should record our efforts whether we succeed or fail," Bai Ning Bing said. Fang Yuan knew that they absolutely could succeed. After all, the Bei twins had. However, what was he supposed to do from beyond here?

"It says here, 'Gemini with one mind, three spirits unite. Fated or not, do not be forceful...'," Bai Ning Bing said, not understanding what it meant.

"Gemini means two people together. Three spirits means the palm, eye, and mind. It means that we need to keep our palms on here," Fang Yuan said. Both Bai Ning Bing and Fang Yuan kept their palms on the pupils of the sculpture but found that it did nothing.

Bai Ning Bing chuckled. "It looks like you were wrong this time, Fang Yuan."

"No, we missed part of that," Fang Yuan said. "It says that the two who put their hands here have to be of one mind." The two of them couldn't be further from that, being diametrically opposed to each other most of the time. Were it not for mutual need, they might have even torn each other's throats out on the spot. The two of them had even tried to kill each other in the past as well.

"Since the two of us are not of two minds of one mind, what can we do?" Bai Ning Bing asked. It was only the two of them there. They had not run into anyone else nor brought anyone else along with them. Fang Yuan had not anticipated this being an issue. 'Should I have kidnapped the Bei twins and brought them here?' It might have been possible with his strength, but it would ruin the rest of his plans. He would have to completely eradicate the Bei clan afterwards.

As he began plotting for this scenario in his head, he was struck by inspiration.

He suddenly realized that he did not need to resort to kidnapping because he had something better. The Integration Gu!

'What were minds, but the manifestation of the wills of individuals?' He had the wills of thousands of Gu Yue clansmen kept within Integration Gu. Although he had used up some of them while fighting the Xuan Yuan Divine Pheasant, there were still many left he had not used up. He just needed to find two of them which were of the same mind.

After searching through them, he found wills belonging to Li Mei and Yu Sai. He took out both of the wills.

"Put this inside your head," Fang Yuan said. "It'll trick this little mechanism."

Bai Ning Bing examined it suspiciously. It looked like a miniature version of a person, but it was also translucent, as if it was some kind of hologram. Fang Yuan took out one for himself and put it in his head, and only after that, did Bai Ning Bing repeat the same.

She had been given Li Mei's thoughts and will, and suddenly her mind was flooded with Li Mei's thoughts.

"Why did you give me the woman's thoughts?!" Bai Ning Bing demanded from Fang Yuan.

"Because you're a woman," Fang Yuan said through gritted teeth.

Fang Yuan was also having difficulties. Why was that?

Because these two were horny beyond belief for each other!

Indeed, their horniness was beyond even Fang Yuan's estimations!

Fang Yuan felt his mind being flood with thoughts about Yu Sai's fantasies of Li Mei's body. His 'little brother' suddenly filled up and became active despite his own inward protests. He had not expected that Yu Sai would be this down bad to the point where it was even affecting him.

It was even worse for Bai Ning Bing - who was seeing Li Mei's fantasies about a man! She most definitely did not want such thoughts flooding her head!

'...Li Mei has such a tight waist, and I bet she can do a lot of things with those hips of hers...' Fang Yuan's mind was being invaded by these kinds of thoughts.

'...and then Yu Sai would take off his pants and force me down and then... - AHHHH! Make it stop!' Bai Ning Bing's thoughts were like this.

"Endure and put your palms back there," Fang Yuan said and Bai Ning Bing complied.

However, as something rose from the ground, "Success," Fang Yuan thought to himself, chasing the unwanted thoughts away from his head.

The wills were rather miniscule, and so after a few minutes they flowed away and both Bai Ning Bing and Fang Yuan returned to normal.

They had been successful in what they intended to do, however, as the skull cracked and revealed some pottery with a scroll lying in the middle with the recipe to refine the Bone Flesh Unity Gu.

New Main Mission Unlocked!

Fulfilling A Dying Wish

Description: Refine the Bone-Flesh Unity Gu successfully.

Reward: ???

They began reading through the requirements needed to refine the gu worm, where they happened upon another problem. "Fang Yuan, it says that the people who need to refine this need to be of one blood," Bai Ning Bing said. "The two of us are not related. How are we possibly going to do this?"

Fang Yuan once again turned his mind towards the Bei twins. No wonder they had been able to do this. They both were of one mind and were related, but these details were omitted from the story he had heard.

Once again, he had not foreseen this. However, that didn't mean that there wasn't a solution to it. He used his communication Gu, reaching out towards Fang Zheng in Gu Yue village.

Meanwhile, in Gu Yue Village...

Fang Zheng and Qing Shu were trying their best to hold down the fort while Fang Yuan was gone.

"Where is clan head now?" one of the elders not directly associated with Fang Yuan complained. "He has taken more days off during his short tenure than the prior clan head did within a decade!"

Many of the elders felt the same way. Although Fang Yuan was clan head he oftentimes ran off to do other things, or took long periods off for his own cultivation. During a time like this, when the clan was at its weakest, they felt it was necessary for Fang Yuan to take a more hands-on approach rather than what he was currently doing.

Now, they couldn't really do anything about it as Fang Yuan was Rank 5, but they had become more vocal as of late. It was almost as if - in their own words - they did not really have a clan head at all!

"Elder brother is not taking time off," Fang Zheng reassured them. "He is simply dealing with an issue related to the clan."

"Indeed," Qing Shu said. "And he will be returning soon."

Naturally this did not stop the questions thrown their way.

"What kind of mission?"

"Why didn't he let us know?"

"He's probably just working on his own cultivation..."

Fang Zheng and Qing Shu continued trying to deflect the questions with minimal success.
