"Tsk, tsk… pathetic, Victor. Look at how low you've fallen."
Victor Langley slowly raised his head, revealing a face that had grown years older in just a few months.
His face that previously lacked wrinkles was now full of them and his head which only occasionally had a strand of grey hair was now full of it.
His eyes were red and hand bags beneath them, a testament to his lack of sleep in the past few days.
He was currently held in a containment facility, awaiting the next decision by the government.
Victor moved his eyes, expecting to see one of his political opponents here to mock him as they had been doing for the past few days, but was surprised to see a face he didn't recognize.
"Sir, you're not supposed to be so close to the prisoner," one of the guards from the facility said as he cautiously approached.
"Is that so?" The man said but continued walking forward till he was right in front of Victor.
