Chapter 54 - True Strength! The Blessing of Power!

[Congratulations, Host!]

[You have acquired a vast amount of black and white magic spellcasting techniques!]

[You have learned the black and white spells cast with a wand by Professor Quirinus Quirrell throughout his life, as well as a small number of advanced dark spells cast by Voldemort's main soul while possessing Quirrell's body using his wand.]

[You have gained unstable and delayed wandless magic! The system has automatically sealed it.]

[Due to the cracked and damaged wand used in the fusion, which had low compatibility with the host, the wandless magic ability obtained after fusion is flawed and has been sealed, rendering it inactive.]

[You have acquired partial wand-making knowledge and memories!]

[You have deepened your understanding of wand-making principles and learned the Ollivander family's secret knowledge and techniques for handling alder wood and unicorn hair materials.]

Dudley felt the surge of memories flooding his mind. He moved his hands, and his fingertips danced with faint sparks of magical energy. A sense of overwhelming power and fulfillment washed over him.

Now, he was truly an elite, professor-level powerhouse.

Whether it was his magical prowess or his spellcasting abilities, he was exceptional, standing at the pinnacle.

Combined with the combat techniques he had learned from Dumbledore over the past few months, if Dudley were to go all out, he might not be able to make Snape soil himself, but he could certainly break the old bat's wings.

"Ahahahaha—"

Dudley let out a maniacal laugh in his bedroom.

The laughter was so eerie that even the young Voldemort's soul fragment inside the diary he carried, which was completely cut off from the outside world, shivered uncontrollably, as if sensing that something terrible was about to happen in the near future.

...

August 29th.

Dudley and Harry went out to summon the core members of the Dudley Gang for a meeting about future plans in a private room at a café.

Over the years at Little Whinging Primary School, as the original story went, Dudley had deeply impressed four Muggle underlings with his bravery. They were Piers, Malcolm, Dennis, and Gordon.

Among these four kids, except for Piers, who was small and skinny, Malcolm, Dennis, and Gordon were all burly and strong for their age.

However, they all shared one common trait: their strength far exceeded that of their peers.

Despite Piers' small frame, he was the strongest of the four and the most trusted by Dudley.

Unlike the original story, during their time in primary school, Dudley didn't lead his gang to bully other students. Instead, they targeted those who bullied others.

With the four as the core, Dudley recruited a group of troublemaking students and formed the Dudley Gang. The gang's influence eventually expanded beyond one school, establishing branches in other primary schools in Little Whinging.

During their free time, Dudley would have his gang take on small tasks for the residents of Little Whinging, such as finding lost cats or dogs, running errands, delivering letters, or investigating petty thefts.

They earned some funds for the gang while also helping Dudley collect items related to magic.

Of course, at first, even these small tasks weren't entrusted to children by the foolish adults.

But after Dudley demonstrated his abilities, the Dudley Gang's reputation grew, and their business flourished, gradually expanding.

"Boss, is this meeting about planning the gang's development at Smeltings after school starts?" Piers Polkiss, the skinny one, asked excitedly in the café's private room.

"No!" Dudley, dressed in his Smeltings uniform, tapped the floor with his Smeltings cane and replied indifferently.

This would be the last time he wore this uniform, which his parents had obtained through connections ahead of time.

"Then what is it for...?" Piers was confused.

"Harry and I won't be attending Smeltings. We're going to explore a new, extraordinary world," Dudley explained. "I called you here to tell you this and to give you some special gifts.

From now on, Piers will take over as the second leader of the Dudley Gang.

Also, from now on, you must restrain the gang members from coming to find me, from getting close to my house, and even from conducting activities near Privet Drive."

"What?" ×4

Piers, Malcolm, Dennis, and Gordon were all stunned by Dudley's words.

Young and not particularly bright, they couldn't comprehend what Dudley meant by an "extraordinary world." All they understood was that Dudley was saying goodbye to them.

"Boss, are you abandoning us?" Piers was on the verge of tears.

"What, are my words not good enough anymore?!" Dudley's expression turned cold, and his tone sharpened. "From now on, Piers is the leader. Restrain the gang members and keep them away from me and Privet Drive. Do you understand?"

"Understood!" Piers and the others instinctively stood at attention, responding in unison.

"Good! Now, don't move. Close your eyes, and don't open them until I say so. No one is allowed to move during this process!"

Dudley continued to issue stern commands.

"Yes!" The four of them closed their eyes without question, placing their complete trust in Dudley.

At this moment, a hint of sadness flickered in Dudley's eyes, but it vanished in an instant as his body began to glow with a radiant light.

Beside him, Harry's wand tip also lit up with the same brilliant glow.

"Power Enhancement!" ×2

As the two incantations overlapped, Dudley and Harry used their full strength to bestow immense power upon Piers and the others.

Then, using the knowledge of spell stabilization he had gained from fusing with the magical suitcase, Dudley solidified the power within the four of them.

This was akin to a blessing of strength.

From this day forward, the four would possess strength equivalent to that of an adult bull, along with the corresponding control over that power.

Moreover, this strength would only begin to wane after they turned sixty.

Additionally, to maintain the gang's stability and out of personal favoritism, Piers Polkiss received a slightly stronger boost than the other three.

"Alright, open your eyes!" Dudley said calmly, while Harry put away his wand.

The four opened their eyes, amazed and exhilarated by the overwhelming sense of power coursing through their bodies.

"Boss, have we become as strong as you?" Piers asked in disbelief.

"Not quite. You're just a bit stronger," Dudley replied bluntly, then sternly warned them, "Promise me you won't flaunt this power or use it for evil. Otherwise, you'll meet a terrible end.

I'm not trying to scare you. The world isn't as simple as you think it is.

If you cause trouble in the future, don't say you know me, and don't expect me to come to your rescue like I used to. Do you understand?"

"Understood!" Piers and the others responded loudly, tears streaming down their faces.

"Good!"

Dudley sat back down in the chair in the private room, poured himself a glass of water from the carafe, and issued his final command:

"Now, line up one by one, face me, and swear to the God you believe in that you will keep this secret and follow my orders.

Then, go home to your mothers. From now on, unless I come to find you, you must never come looking for me!"

"Wah— Yes!"
