Chapter 360 - Chapter 360. Nightshade Productions 2

Alex, having read through all the known Team Dominion operatives in the Unova region, instantly recognized the Champion ranked dominatrix. She was Cassandra Duvain, the operative who was in charge of overseeing Nimbasa City for Team Dominion, which maintained a base in the city's southeast corner. She also controlled numerous businesses scattered throughout the area that served as recruiting fronts, including brothels, hotels, porn studios, and sex shops.

It was a complete coincidence that Alex would meet her here of all places. Then again, it made sense that she had a hand in Nightshade Productions' success, which also explained how the company had managed to remain untouched by the police.

She was tall, with long wavy brunette hair, luscious red lips, and an hourglass figure. She wore a black leather corset that propped up her breasts, a miniskirt that bared her legs, and high heels that lent her a distinctly domineering posture. A leather riding crop rested in her hand, which she used to whip the man's chest as she rode him, punctuating each strike with a stream of insults.

"That looks like a woman who knows how to have fun," Rhea commented over the comms. "I don't think I could pull it off, though. I'm too short."

"I'm pretty sure it's all in the attitude," Alex replied, already considering his approach.

"Oh, I can pull off the attitude, but it wouldn't look as sexy coming from a munchkin."

The glass sliding door separating them looked rated for Elite rank and was almost certainly locked. Breaking through would require full strength, which would give their target more than enough time to answer an ambush on the other side. He could use Raticate to cut the glass, but given that their target was a Champion, she would almost certainly hear it. Left with no real alternative, Alex prepared himself to bust through.

"Take out the guards for me if they try to come onto the balcony," Alex instructed.

"Hell yeah. It's maulin' time," Rhea answered with enthusiasm.

Alex braced himself and charged through the glass pane, leading with his shoulder. The sliding door shattered, sending shards flying across the room. His entrance alerted the woman, who turned toward him with a scowl for interrupting her fun.

Immediately, Poké Balls opened, flooding the room with bright red light as the Pokémon materialized and sprang into action.

On Cassandra's side, there was a Champion ranked Roserade, along with Tsareena, Lurantis, Salazzle, Houndoom, and Ninetales, all at Elite rank.

On Alex's side, Gardevoir immediately moved to immobilize the man on the bed, while Raticate struck Roserade with Quick Attack, sending both crashing through a wall to continue their fight in another room. Knight rushed at Tsareena, X-Scissor cutting through the air as a high-speed melee battle began. Clawitzer opened fire with Water Pulse on Salazzle, nearly knocking the fire lizard out in a single hit. Togekiss and Alcremie teamed up, bathing Houndoom and Ninetales in blinding Dazzling Gleams, while Ceruledge charged at Lurantis with Bitter Blade, the two locking into a sword duel to the death.

Right away, the battle leaned in Alex's favor. His Pokémon were all at Champion rank and held type advantages.

He, meanwhile, continued his charge straight for Cassandra, who only had enough time to stand and shout, "Who dares—" before being interrupted as she took a brutal shoulder-tackle to the chest.

Alex drove forward at full power, knocking her through the wall behind the bed and accidentally stepping on her partner's manhood as he barreled past. They crashed through the wall and began a fight of their own in another room.

The commotion immediately drew the attention of the guards on patrol, who all turned toward the source of the noise. Most rushed into the house to protect their boss, while the stronger few at Expert rank leapt onto the balcony with their Pokémon in tow, right into the waiting arms of Rhea, already clad in her Mauler.

"Nyahaha!" she laughed as she punched out, sending one of the guards flying off the compound.

"Tink!" her Tinkaton shouted in unison, swinging her gigantic hammer at the oncoming Pokémon and sending it flying after its trainer.

Together, the pair defended the balcony, ignoring any bullets fired their way. Nothing these guards had could possibly penetrate her armor.

Back in the room, Clawitzer finished her fight first, as a second Water Pulse knocked out Salazzle, though she was poisoned with Toxic for her trouble.

Ceruledge won her fight next, as Lurantis simply couldn't withstand more than a single Bitter Blade due to the severe type disadvantage.

This left a four-on-two against Houndoom and Ninetales, who were quickly taken down, leaving only the Champion ranked Tsareena, who was having a difficult time against Knight.

In the room where both Alex and Raticate had charged through Cassandra and Roserade, a two-on-two battle ensued. Seeing his partner in crime fighting beside him, Alex decided to give him a boost and activated Mega Evolution.

Raticate shone brightly before revealing his Mega Evolved form, his typing shifting to Normal and Ghost as a more sinister aura washed over him, accompanied by a significant boost to his Attack stat.

Immediately, he pressed forward with Pluck, dealing significant damage, while Roserade countered with Sludge Bomb. The fat rat was simply too agile, evading the attack from point-blank range before circling around for another Pluck. Their dance continued, with Raticate landing glancing hits while slipping past each counterattack.

Meanwhile, Alex faced off against Cassandra, who was clearly trying to buy time.

"Do you have any idea who you're messing with?" she demanded. "You're stronger than me and will most likely take me down here and now, but are you confident you'll survive the consequences?"

"Considering I'm already on Team Dominion's radar, I might as well deal as much damage to them as possible, don't you think?" Alex replied. "Why not start with you, right here?"

"So you're not just an idiot picking a fight," she said, impressed. "You actually think you can take down our organization by yourself."

"Pretty much," Alex said with a shrug.

Suddenly, a group of guards burst through the door, about to rush in and provide backup. Arcanine leapt out of his Poké Ball and immediately used Extreme Speed to knock them back, following it with Heat Wave that roasted both the guards and their Pokémon where they stood. The heat from a Champion ranked Heat Wave not only overwhelmed the guards but also set the hallway outside ablaze, melting through the walls and ceiling.

"Anyway," Alex said calmly, "if you can give me a good reason to keep you alive, I'll consider it."

"You want me to beg for my life?" she spat, fixing him with a scornful look. "I'd rather die."

"Suit yourself," Alex said as he rushed forward, posture low and ready for a takedown.

Cassandra took a sharp breath and spat out a cloud of purple mist aimed straight for his face. Before it could touch him, Ditto transformed from a watch into a Muk, swallowing the mist between them before rolling aside and clearing the path for Alex to follow through.

He slammed Cassandra to the ground and began raining punches down on her head, each strike aimed at a decisive knockout. After the fifth punch to her jaw, ignoring the scratches on his arms as she struggled, she finally went limp.

Alex stood and turned to Raticate, who had achieved much the same result with Roserade.

"That was easy," he said, before grabbing Cassandra by the hair and dragging her back into the master bedroom, where Gardevoir had finished her psychic probe of the owner of Nightshade Productions.

Gardevoir moved to a painting beside the bed and revealed a safe hidden behind it. Using the combination she had pulled from his mind, she opened it, retrieved its contents, and presented them to Alex.

"Is it enough to take the entire studio down?" Alex asked.

Gardevoir nodded in response.

"Can you check if this one has a psychic lock?" Alex asked as he tossed Cassandra toward her.

After a brief examination, Gardevoir shook her head, indicating that Cassandra's mind was locked tighter than she could pry open.

"Oh well. I'll take the small bonus and be happy with it," Alex said before checking on his Pokémon.

They were all fine, except for Clawitzer, who was poisoned, an easy fix with an Antidote. Outside on the balcony, Rhea was more or less done playing baseball, as all the guards had already been taken care of. As for the mansion, it was now engulfed in flames, the wail of sirens echoing in the distance.

Since he had already gotten what he came for and Cassandra showed no intention of cooperating, Alex killed her and the man with a quick twist of their necks. With no bounty on her head, he left her corpse where it lay and secured her Pokémon's bodies for later consumption. After recalling his own, he stepped out onto the balcony beside Rhea.

"We're done here," Alex called out.

"Already?" Rhea asked. "I thought this was going to be more difficult."

"Our night isn't over yet," Alex replied. "Since we took down the leader of Team Dominion's operations in Nimbasa City, we might as well hit their base here before moving on to the next target."

"A base!" Rhea exclaimed, eyes lighting up. "Yay!"

She retrieved her armor along with Tinkaton before the pair ran south toward the base, leaving the mansion to burn behind them as the wail of approaching sirens grew louder.
