Jean couldn't believe what she was hearing… her breath got stuck in her throat. The air between them which used to feel light was now getting heavy.
"Pretending has always been your game of survival Jean and I don't like this… it makes me feel dirty." Logan said what he wanted to say, finally.
Jean's voice broke, "so this is it? Are you regretting it now?"
Logan just stared at her, he wanted to wipe the tear on her face but somehow it didn't feel like his territory. Jean was not his.
"I am going to stay in another room, for Hannah I had to book a room for us to stay together." Logan said before leaving the room. "We leave early tomorrow morning, be ready."
