Hannah blinked, surprised, and turned sharply to Logan. "Brother... Why does it say my name?"
Jean looked at Logan too, curiosity softening the tension in her face. Even Henry paused, brows knitting in question.
Logan exhaled, a small, almost boyish smile tugging at his lips. "Your birthday is coming up, remember? Me and Dad wanted you to have a house… somewhere that's yours, after landing your job."
Hannah's lips parted, speechless. "Logan… you shouldn't have…"
"Of course I should," He cut her off gently. "Every Kingsley deserves a piece of home. Especially my annoying little sister."
A breathless laugh escaped her lips, eyes shimmering. "And you never even told me," She whispered.
Logan's smile turned soft, almost teasing. "Would've ruined the surprise, wouldn't it?"
Henry pulled the van to a stop near the steps. For a heartbeat, silence hung between them all, their weariness mixing with a fragile relief. Logan pressed a light kiss to Jean's temple.
