At 2 AM,
Raj received a call from Ronit, who shared something about Muskaan that left Raj deeply troubled.
Muskaan had confessed to Aarav before their marriage that she had been in love with someone, but she never revealed the identity of that person, nor did Aarav ask.
Muskaan had assured Aarav that her past was behind her and that she had no issues with their marriage.
But now, the situation was different. Muskaan had eloped with someone, and Ronit had uncovered some information about the matter.
Raj, sleepless and worried, kept thinking about how to break the news to Aarav. However, before involving Aarav, Raj wanted to uncover the complete truth himself.
The Next Morning:
At breakfast,
the family was gathered together. Aarav and Pia's behavior seemed unusual, and Dadi (grandmother) couldn't help but feel that something was off. Suddenly, an idea struck her.
"Well, as far as I know, couples usually go on a trip somewhere after their wedding, right?" Dadi remarked.
Hearing this, Raj immediately jumped in,
"Yes, for a honeymoon…"
Realizing what he'd just said, he fell silent under Aarav's piercing glare.
"Yes, exactly that! Aarav Pia, shouldn't you both go somewhere? Your marriage is still new, and you should spend more time together.
Aarav you're always in the office, so why not you take a break and go somewhere for a few days?" Dadi said, trying to sound casual yet persuasive.
Radhaji and Avinashji were thrilled with this idea, as they also wanted the couple to spend quality time together.
After all, Aarav had been keeping his distance from Pia since their marriage.
Meanwhile, Pia was blushing profusely, and Aarav was visibly uncomfortable.
"No, Dadi, I can't. There's too much work in the office, and I can't leave it behind. We'll go later," Aarav tried to dismiss the topic. But Dadi wasn't ready to give up, now certain that something was amiss.
"No excuses! You can't spend your whole life buried in work. Think about your wife for once! She's new to this house and is already busy managing everything. As her husband, it's your responsibility to take care of her.
Raj and your father can handle the office in your absence. You're going, and that's final!" Dadi's tone left no room for argument.
"Mom, you're absolutely right," Avinashji agreed.
"Aarav, you should take Pia somewhere."
Amid all this, Raj couldn't stop thinking about Ronit's revelation. Hearing the discussion, a plan began forming in his mind.
"This is perfect. If Aarav stays out of Mumbai for a few days, I can resolve the issue with Muskaan. And who knows, spending time with Pia might even change Aarav's feelings toward her," Raj thought.
"That's a fantastic idea! Bhabi must also want to go somewhere.
Aarav, take her to the Maldives for a few days. It'll be good for both of you," Raj suggested, knowing full well that Aarav didn't want to go anywhere with Pia.
Aarav shot him a deadly glare, but before he could respond, Pia spoke up.
"No, no, I don't want to go anywhere… I mean, he has a lot of work right now, so let him finish it first. Besides, I enjoy spending time at home with all of you, so we're not going anywhere for now."
Aarav looked at Pia, relieved that she had defused the situation. But the family wasn't ready to back down and continued pressing them.
"No, No work!!! The office can manage without you for a few days. You two are going, and that's final!" Dadi delivered her ultimate verdict.
That's when Sakshi, chimed in,
"Hey, if you're going, please take me with you! I have a college break, and I want to go too!"
"Shut up, pagal ! You're not going with them!" Raj said, playfully tapping her on the head.
But Sakshi wasn't one to give up easily.
"Ouch, bhai… What did I say wrong? It's been ages since I've gone anywhere, and none of you ever take me out!"
Listening to Sakshi's words, everyone held their heads in frustration.
" is ladki ka kuch nahi ho sakta "
(This girl is impossible.)
But Sakshi's words gave Aarav an idea to solve his problem. In a stern voice, he declared his decision to everyone,
"Fine, Pia and I will go on a trip, but…"
Everyone was happy to hear this, but the "but…" left them confused.
"But what…?"
"We won't go alone. All of you are coming with us. Like Sakshi said, it's been a while since anyone has gone anywhere, so we'll all go together. If you all agree, great. Otherwise, I'm not going anywhere." Saying this, Aarav finished his breakfast and got up.
Hearing Aarav's decision, everyone began to think. What kind of decision was this?
The marriage was theirs, and yet he wanted to take everyone along for the trip. But knowing Aarav, they understood he wouldn't change his mind, so if they wanted to go, they would all have to go together.
Just as he was leaving, Aarav paused and looked at Raj.
"And yes, we'll go to Shimla, to our farmhouse. Let me know if everyone agrees, and I'll make the arrangements. Otherwise, the idea of a trip ends here." Saying this, Aarav left for the office. Since Raj had some errands, he had already informed Aarav earlier that he would come late to work.
Now, it was Raj's turn to feel troubled.
Everyone else was thrilled about going to Shimla, but hearing the name of Shimla shocked Raj.
"How could Aarav even think about taking me to Shimla? He knows very well that there…"
Raj couldn't even imagine going to Shimla, but seeing everyone so happy, he didn't want to say anything at that moment. He too finished his breakfast and left for the office.
