Chapter 159 - After Blushing, Regret

"Ahhh, what do I do! I… I… I actually accepted his confession before his best friend!"

As the two emerged from the tender warmth of being new lovers, Millie also fell into a similar sage-like state. She squatted at the top of the stairs, vexed, racking her brain for a solution.

"Alain! It's all your fault!" The girl turned her spearhead, aiming it at Alain.

Alain, who was still pondering how to deal with the remains of the Failure, turned his head to hear, "Why are you so alluring?!"

"Am I fragrant?"

"Fragrant! It's because you're too fragrant that I couldn't resist the temptation… so it's all your fault!"

"Oh…" Alain thoughtfully said, cracking a small joke, "Then should I be fragrant again?"

Millie accepted this calmly, which in turn left him speechless.

"…Why did you agree so smoothly this time?"

Not getting a shy reaction from his bro, Alain felt a little disappointed. At the same time, he took off his jacket, tied it into a makeshift bag, and put the remains of the Failure in one by one.

During this time, black smoke emanated from the surface of the remains, and the black spots gradually disappeared, revealing the original color. This virus, after its main body was killed, couldn't survive. That saved a lot of trouble.

But the weight of the Failure itself was a bit much for Alain in his normal state.

"Because, isn't this what I deserve?" She grabbed a corner of the bag, sharing the weight for Alain. "Right now, am I not your girlfriend?"

"Then… should we be fragrant for a moment first?"

As soon as Alain's words fell, Millie did not answer, but came up to him. The two temporarily put down the Failure and kissed downstairs for a while.

By the time the girl was a little out of breath, the intimacy temporarily ended. The two once again picked up the bag made of clothes, strenuously carrying it up the steps.

"Anyway… this matter, don't let my best friend know for now." Millie, while kissing, seemed to be thinking about something.

"No… I don't think Misha would say anything."

"No, just no!" The girl shook her head. "What if, what if… Misha is heartbroken, I can't bear to see that."

Imagining that scene, Millie's face gradually turned pale. "To lose my best friend on the first day of accepting a confession… I don't want that!"

"Didn't you confess to me?"

"Huh? You're turning your back on me so quickly?!" Millie bared her fangs, looking as if she was about to bite him.

Alain, however, calmly held out a finger, standing in front of Millie. The girl hesitated, then blushed and lightly left a kiss on his fingertip.

"It's salty… No! The playful banter between lovers is temporarily over. You have to listen to my arrangements!"

"On what grounds? I'm an egalitarian. Don't think that just because we're lovers, you can—"

"On the grounds that you touched my chest while kissing just now."

I was discovered?! He had no way out. Because Millie, this girl, had been calling him "good bro" all day long. You have to know, these lines have a buff! Plus, she likes to talk about "guilt"… and so on, which made Alain himself slightly sink into a sense of guilt. At that time, he just… just… couldn't help himself.

"Really… you didn't give me any mental preparation. How can you do that right after a confession?" Millie looked at her slightly wrinkled collar and sighed. "But it's precisely because of this that you have to listen to me for now: don't mention this matter to Misha."

They, carrying the puppet's remains, finally reached the door of their small home.

"And… that thing. I'm just mentioning it in passing." Standing in front of the door, Millie's tone was a little embarrassed, her ears tinged with red. "I also know… since we've become lovers, I have to satisfy your… well. That thing."

She scratched her cheek. "But, you also have to give me mental preparation. D-don't just touch me without saying anything again."

Alain vaguely understood her implied meaning, "Then next time I touch you, I'll let you know first."

Millie did not reply, but gave him a coquettish look, then knocked on the door.

Before long, Misha, wearing an apron, opened the door. "You've worked hard."

The long-haired girl took the remains of the Failure from the two of them. Alain entered the door and saw the sumptuous spread on the dining table.

"Oh my… so heavy." Misha put the remains of the Failure in a corner of the small house. "By the way, the Failure should have been dealt with a long time ago, right? Why were you two so slow?"

"We… we weren't having an affair!" Alain only saw Millie's shoulder twitch, and then she blurted out such words without thinking.

"An… affair?" As Misha was puzzled, her gaze turned to Alain.

"Yes, we weren't having an affair."

"Oh…" His dear seemed to have noticed something, nodding her tail, then tossing it to the back of her mind, her smile returning. "Alright, let's have a late-night snack first! Tonight, everyone has worked hard!"

Misha's cooking skills had gone from the "charcoal art" of her first arrival in the real world to the "restaurant level" now. It made Alain look forward to every meal she made.

After a while, he and Millie's supper ended.

"Alain… it was dangerous. We were almost discovered just now. Luckily, I reacted quickly!" After the three finished their supper, Millie said this to him.

What could Alain do? He could only nod in agreement.

Afterwards, he thought of the matter of the Failure most likely coming out of the computer screen. He urged his girlfriend to go to bed early, and the two cuddled and kissed for a while before he sat in front of the computer and opened the Mita window.

As he expected: in the tender pink room, Pocket Mita was nowhere to be found.

He recalled what Misha had said before: if a Mita was killed, then the room would be reset, and she would return to the room.

Looking at it this way, Pocket Mita's situation was either she had gone out to flee, or she was imprisoned…

One of his little companions in the computer had disappeared, which still made Alain feel a little lost. He also didn't know if he would ever meet her again in the game world in the future.

And all of this was that guy's fault.

Alain turned his head, looking at the pile of "clutter" in the corner of the room. Besides the remains of the Failure, there was also Misha's baseball bat and Alain's electric drink.

He had to think carefully about how to deal with the Failure.

"Alain, it's getting late, time for bed~" Misha's urging voice came from the bedroom.

And all of this was that guy's fault.

Alain turned his head, looking at the pile of "clutter" in the corner of the room. Besides the remains of the Failure, there was also Misha's baseball bat and Alain's electric drink.
