Chapter 61 - Chapter 60

"Say it."

His breath hitched. "Say… what?"

I smirked. "That you want me to ruin you."

A sharp inhale.

Fingers clenching into my shirt.

But he didn't resist.

Didn't push me away.

Didn't even try.

And that?

That was when I knew I had won.

Mehul licked his lips, chest rising and falling too fast.

And then—so softly, I almost didn't hear it—

"I do."

My grip on his waist tightened.

Because that?

That was all I needed.

I didn't hesitate.

Didn't hold back.

I grabbed his jaw and kissed him.

Hard. Deep. Possessive.

Not just a kiss—a claim.

Mehul melted immediately.

His hands gripped my shoulders, body pressing against mine.

Like he couldn't help himself.

Like he needed this.

And I?

I wasn't about to let him go now.

I slid my hands down his back, pulling him even closer.

He gasped against my lips, fingers digging into my arms.

But he didn't stop me.

He let me take everything.

And that?

That was the moment I realized—

Mehul was never in control to begin with.

He had been waiting for this.

Waiting for me.

And now?

I was going to show him exactly what that meant.

I finally pulled away.

Just enough to see the mess I had made of him.

His lips? Kiss-swollen.

His breathing? Completely wrecked.

His hands? Still gripping me like I was the only thing keeping him standing.

I smirked.

Brushed a thumb over his lower lip, watching him shiver.

"Now, that's how you say goodnight."

Mehul exhaled a shaky laugh.

Then—he met my gaze.

And whispered, "You're insufferable."

I grinned.

"And you love it."

Mehul rolled his eyes. Didn't even bother denying it.

And that?

That was when I knew—

This was just the beginning.
