The Audience were also able to see the change in the world phenomenon. This is thanks to the Arena's special abilities. Illusions were a form of mental attack. Under normal condition when a mage cast an illusion, nobody else but the opponent would descend into the world of the illusion. But the Arena was capable of allowing all the spectators to see into the world of the illusion.
