Finally, Damon reached the halfway point.
On the other side, Kaelthorn landed on the central platform, once again without a single injury on his body and with the same smug smile on his face. "I am safe and sound here, little lord. Come and join me fast." He laughed.
Damon's frown only deepened as he took the next step. And suddenly, everything changed.
