When the roc finally landed once again on the coastal strip, everyone had different looks on their faces.
Damon hopped down with a lazy stretch. Kate followed after, legs wobbly, her flushed cheeks giving away far more than she probably wanted them to.
Mark groaned, dragging a hand over his face. "Oh, for fuck's sake. Really? In the middle of the skies? On top of a bird made of fire?" He didn't wait for an answer, just shook his head and walked away in another direction.
"Your sister liked it!" Damon did not forget to tease him.
"You are a dumbass!" Kate punched him with full force for that.
"Ouch." Damon acted as if her punch hurt. "What did I do? Did you not gain enough stats from you know…" He winked at her, waggling his brows.
Kate was dumbfounded at the openly vulgar remark. "You are not fucking getting any next time." She punched him again, cursed him under her breath, and then stormed into the forest, only barely hiding the shy smile on her face.
