Damon quickly grabbed the flying disc and tossed it into his spatial ring. It was bound to someone else, but that did not matter. There were always ways to make it clean and free from any other ownership. Unlike beast mounts, mech mounts were a lot easier to tinker with.
However, apart from the flying disc, he hadn't really gained much from this short scuffle, even after expending so much. Damon clicked his tongue. He was correct in deducing that these three were the big shots of the whole arrangement but yet there was nothing he could do to them.
He wasn't even able to kill one of them. That was disappointing. At least he made all three run from the scene of the battle. A small victory.
Damon grinned. Of course, he also had an even bigger victory. How could he simply let them go just like that? He closed his eyes and tried to get a feel for it. Three blood marks. Three strong and unique blood marks.
