Damon looked at the woman, who was the only one who had actually signed a contract with him. Not so surprisingly, she did not seem that indignant anymore. In fact, she was quick to bow her head and pay her respects.
"Master, congratulations on defeating the broodmother."
"Thanks." Damon chuckled. He was never one to hold petty grudges, so he didn't care too much about the attitude change. The woman was practical at least, which only increased her value.
"Well, if there isn't anything else. We should be making a move now. There is somewhere we need to be." Damon spoke to her and then started activating a Blood Gate to the Dune of Graves.
"Wait, vampire!" One of the others called out hurriedly after Damon. The man then quickly changed his tone and the way he addressed Damon.
"Master, please forgive my insolence. I wish that…" He paused and then looked at the others. "We wish that you would accept us as well as your followers."
