Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: Unfriendly Roommates

"I think, you should let me get to know you now!"

Saying that, Celine paused, then turned her gaze to one of the Little Dragons.

"Start with you!"

Being pointed at by Celine's chin, Dinnett's eyes flashed with a hint of shame and annoyance, but after comparing the sizes of the two sides, she could only remember this hatred.

"Dinnett, species is Green Dragon!"

Dinnett's voice is very pleasant, with a bit of childishness, and after listening to it, people can't help but feel a sense of protectiveness!

Vet was also attracted by this voice and carefully looked at Dinnett.

Like Winters, she is bipedal.

Although she is a Wood Dragon, her forelimbs have obvious bulging muscles.

Her four dragon horns are curved upwards, making them more ferocious than the dragon horns of other Giant Dragons!

The wingspan is 1.

2 times the body length, the whole body is green, the scales are rhombus-shaped, small, dense and slightly convex, the tail is thin and long, like a whip, and when it swings unintentionally, it will bring bursts of wind!

Noticing this, Vet became a little wary of Dinnett.

This little female dragon was definitely not as baby-voiced as she sounded.

Getting whipped by that tail would probably hurt for a long time!

While Vet was observing Dinnett, Celine was also watching Dinnett with great interest.

Suddenly, she chuckled!

"I can see your unwillingness to accept.

I can give you a chance to fight.

If you can defeat me, I will acknowledge you as the leader!"

Hearing this, a hint of interest flashed in Dinnett's eyes, but soon, she suppressed it.

Now is not a good opportunity!

When neither side can cast magic, the advantage of size will be infinitely magnified!

What's more, Celine is already able to use the light element in her body, although very little, but it can play a great role in battle.

Going head-to-head with Celine now is definitely not a smart choice!

Looking at the silent Dinnett, Celine scoffed.

"Smart choice, so next, you come!"

Billy, the Red Crystal Giant Dragon, suddenly called upon by the Crystal Giant Dragon, was momentarily stunned, then hurriedly said, "Billy, a Red Crystal Giant Dragon by race.

Let it be clear, I have no objection to deferring to you, Celine, but your demands cannot be without limit!"

As he said this, Billy glanced at Celine's form with apprehension.

He, too, had no desire to clash with Celine.

Hearing this, my eyes flashed with astonishment.

I had previously noted that Billy was exceedingly bold; in every prior action, he was invariably the first to rush in.

Especially just now, the creature had even coveted the illuminating stones within our Dragon Den!

Greedy and audacious—that was my initial impression of him.

But now it seemed I needed to re-evaluate this strangely configured Little Dragon!

That's right, it was strange!

The joints of its limbs, the edges of its draconic horns and wings, and the area from its neck along the spine all the way to its tail, all bore clusters of red crystal.

Particularly the dragon horns—I couldn't even discern the keratinous part; the entire structure was red crystal, resembling a crown!

However, these red crystals were somewhat dim at present.

The Red Dragon Scales were rhomboid and appeared exceptionally smooth, with a crystal-like texture.

At its chest, there was a protruding, hexagonal Crystal, approximately half the size of a dragon's head.

The Dragon Tail was thick and long, and at its terminus, the Crystal Cluster expanded, like a Meteor Hammer, possessing the texture of Crystal, though I knew not its hardness!

If it were sufficiently hard, then its tail was likely a concealed, ultimate weapon!

Billy's appearance was significantly different from other dragons, which I found somewhat peculiar.

On the other hand, Celine, possessing inherited memories, did not find Billy's appearance strange.

Crystal Dragons all bore such a likeness, with differences primarily in coloration.

She was more intrigued by Billy's words!

"You are the most sensible among them, and I trust you will continue to be so.

As for your concerns, they are entirely unfounded.

I am no tyrant; how could I make demands without end!"

Tyrant?

I grinned.

This little dragoness certainly dared to dream; even I hadn't yet contemplated assuming such a role.

After Celine finished speaking, she turned her gaze to Ao.

Compared to the somewhat lackadaisical other dragons, the Gold Dragon was obviously not as placid.

Seeing Celine's gaze upon him, Ao stood up, fully extending his wings, his dazzling gold vertical pupils flashing with astonishing belligerence!

"Ao, Gold Dragon.

Engage me in combat.

If you prevail, I shall acknowledge you as leader.

However, I have one condition: during our contest, you are forbidden to employ magical elements!"

Celine looked at Ao, then chuckled!

"Naturally, that poses no issue.

But before that..."

As she spoke, Celine's gaze finally turned to me.

"Lachrymose one, you probably do not object to my calling you that!

We have already introduced ourselves.

Although you do not even know your own race, introducing yourself should not prove problematic, correct!"

Celine's words caused the other three Dragons to shift their gaze towards me.

Within the Draconic Clans, strength is revered above all!

And they had already clearly heard of my predicament from my conversation with Winters: I might not be able to master magical power in the future.

As for the so-called inherited physical strength from my sire... preposterous; among us five wyrmlings, I was the most slender and petite.

And strength is invariably linked to a massive physique.

My appearance was not at all convincing!

Therefore, they looked at me with a hint of contempt.

Although the glory of the True Dragon made them disdainful of bullying the weak, the same glory made them disdainful of associating with them!

Noticing these gazes, my eyes narrowed, then my lips curled, revealing two rows of stark white teeth.

"I do not mind what you call me, but I still prefer others to address me as Vet.

Furthermore, I do not believe you are particularly formidable."

Saying this, I opened my eyes, coldly regarding Celine, the muscles on my limbs already tensing.

Looking at my stance, Celine's eyes narrowed, then she chuckled.

"Are you preparing to engage me?

Do not be absurd.

Argent Dragons themselves are proficient in magic, and you have inherited no magical elemental affinity; with what do you intend to fight me?

Relying on your thin body?"

I offered no answer, stomped my feet fiercely, and flapped my unfurled wings violently, lunging and sliding towards Celine.

My movements were utterly devoid of hesitation.

For this was, originally, my plan: to thrash all four wyrmlings before me.

As long as they could not endure it, they would naturally report to Winters.

Regardless of the reason, Winters would inevitably separate us.

At that time, I would be able to possess a Dragon Den entirely my own!

Thinking of this, an even colder light flashed in my eyes!

Celine looked at me rushing towards her, a cold glint flashing in her own eyes!

If you desire combat, then combat it shall be!

True Dragons never recoil from battle!
