The phone stopped ringing and the room was plunged into silence. The loudest sound was Jingzhe's breathing which was tickling her neck. Mei Mei could not tell what was bothering her more, the hot breath on her neck, the lips brushing against it or the loud beating of her heart.
Suddenly, Jingzhe moved, he kissed her neck and her eyes widened.
"Sister, your hugs are like magic, this one has healed me." he said.
Mei Mei pushed him back by the shoulder and he raised his body, supporting himself with his palms. He did not move, he just hovered over her. There was no regret or apology in his eyes and yet his cheeks were slightly red.
She guessed that it had probably taken a lot for him to dare to kiss her neck.
She touched his cheek and said, "A Zhe, don't you know that even men protect themselves when they are outside?"
"But we are inside." he replied.
