Mrs. Xu knew that look in Assistant Han's eyes and she almost toppled Mei Mei backwards in order to listen to what news the assistant had to share.
Assistant Han had a document on her phone which she showed Mei Mei. "Mr. Mo's lawyer has been to visit a psychiatrist that examined him before he left on the mission on space. Apparently, he sustained an injury that caused a frontal lobe injury some years ago. This can cause damage to someone's brain region, impair reasoning, impulse control and social behavior."
Mrs. Xu gasped. She did not understand what frontal lobe injury was but she understood everything else.
Her face fell into alarm. "Does this mean that he is going to get away with everything?"
Mei Mei scoffed. "If this was true, how did he qualify for the mission to space? Even my parents, desperate as they were to get him away from me would not have endangered the lives of others by allowing a mentally unfit man pilot a space ship."
