Chapter 229: The Secret Room Douluo, Part 3

What in the world? Ye Wen's mind spun in a haze as he found himself being led by Bibi Dong down a hidden corridor. Dizzy and weak, he barely registered the details of the secret room she brought him to, though he caught glimpses of its odd warmth. A massive, plush bed stood at its center, with neatly arranged furniture around it: a writing desk, a vanity, and an ornate wardrobe.

Before he could process anything further, Bibi Dong had already removed his shoes and tossed him onto the bed, leaving him immobilized. His senses were sluggish, thoughts half formed, as she hummed to herself in that seductive, lilting tone. Faint sounds of fabric shifting reached his ears, stirring a strange anticipation. Just as a faint tingle returned to his limbs, a sharp pain jolted through his palm, and he realized she had pricked him again with the same strange dagger.

An alluring scent drifted toward him, igniting a spark within him despite his immobility. At the edge of his vision, Bibi Dong approached, no longer in her usual stately attire. She wore a silk, violet slip, with golden hair cascading down her shoulders. Gone was the imposing Pope; here was a dangerously enchanting woman with curves that caught his breath.

Tossing the dagger aside, Bibi Dong leaned over him, eyes glazed with a fierce possessiveness. She breathed in deeply, her face inches from his, reveling in his scent with a slightly crazed expression.

"It's all your fault," she murmured, her voice a sultry whisper. "You've known how I feel about you all this time. So why pretend you don't?"

Ye Wen could do little but lay there, stunned and speechless. Despite living in this world for years, he had stayed faithful to his family, rejecting the wanton liberties many others took. But he could not respond now Bibi Dong moved before he could think, tearing his clothes and pinning him beneath her with a manic glee.

He is mine!

Mine!

All mine!

In the dim room, with his body weakened and senses dulled, Ye Wen lost track of time, of everything, as Bibi Dong unleashed her pent up emotions. Though it was her first time, she had all the force of a tempest, leaving him dazed and exhausted. Struggling to regain his strength, he felt himself gradually coming back under his own control. Gathering his resolve, he flipped her beneath him, turning the tables.

Finally, after what felt like hours, he lay back, spent and drained. Bibi Dong lay beside him, still radiant in the afterglow. She was, without question, unlike anyone he had known. Compared to Ah Yin and Bo Saixi, Bibi Dong was a true force of nature, her intensity unmatched.

Ye Wen let out a long sigh, his mind heavy. All he had wanted was to be a good husband. How had things ended up like this? In this world, he realized, it was he who seemed out of place, an oddity. Even Yu Yuan Zhen had recently found ten wives for his son Yu Xiao Gang. That was the way of things here, yet Ye Wen remained ambivalent.

Beside him, Bibi Dong soon recovered, her god level powers aiding her as well. She seemed almost shy now, her gaze avoiding his as if the fierce resolve she'd held moments ago had faded into bashfulness.

This awkward contrast stirred a quiet amusement in Ye Wen. Her actions, strange and intense as they were, had come from genuine affection. Perhaps, he thought, she was just a bit of a yandere. However, he still had to consider how his family would react if he were to bring Bibi Dong into their lives. His three children might take the news with varying degrees of acceptance, but it was the right thing to do.

Strengthening his hold around her shoulders, Ye Wen murmured, "Will you marry me, Dong'er?"

Bibi Dong froze, then managed a trembling "yes," her heart melting at his gentle tone. All of her suppressed desires, the years of loneliness and longing, had finally culminated in this moment. She savored the sweetness of his embrace and the way he addressed her with such affection.

Still, both understood that given their current positions, a public marriage was impossible. Ye Wen apologized, "We'll have to wait a bit for the ceremony."

Bibi Dong was well aware of the challenges and nodded understandingly. Official marriage could wait; to her, the reality of their bond was far more valuable than any ceremonial title. Besides, what thrilled her more now was the thought of knowing he was hers, a secret triumph over the past relationships they both had. She was now, without a doubt, the one who knew him most intimately.

As she lifted her gaze to meet his, her eyes held a wicked gleam. "Round two?" she whispered playfully, before capturing his lips again.

Caught off guard, Ye Wen could only muster an exasperated groan. It seemed the myth about goddesses and their insatiable strength was indeed true. Refusing to back down, he reached deep into his spiritual reserves, drawing energy from his Sea God powers to match her fervor.

After all, a god like the Sea God couldn't let a mere Rakshasa dominate him.
