Chapter 310: The Divine Battle Conclusion
In the vast universe, where opportunities abound, so do deadly dangers.
Ye Wen understood he could never count on the four God Kings for support. If they couldn't be allies, then they had to be destroyed.
The end of the Gate of Banishment led to a chaotic stretch of outer space. From Ye Wen's observations, this area was riddled with temporal storms, even dotted with black holes. In such an extreme environment, not even God Kings would escape unscathed.
Unfortunately, the distant location of this starry abyss forced Ye Wen to exhaust his entire divine power just to open the Gate of Banishment, even draining his divine body to the point of bleeding from his seven orifices.
But the sacrifice was worth it, as it effectively removed a threat to Douluo Star's future.
Wiping the blood from his lips, Ye Wen thought to himself, Let's hope you meet your end in that chaotic star field.
Due to the distance, Ye Wen couldn't pinpoint their exact destination and could only toss the four God Kings into the void. They could try to destroy the gate mid transport, but then they'd be swept up by chaotic temporal currents, landing who knows where in the cosmos. And to navigate the countless stars and find their way back here would take an enormous amount of time time enough for Ye Wen to strengthen himself and face the peak God Kings directly.
Of course, it would be even better if they simply perished out there.
With the four God Kings now gone, Ye Wen dispelled his Boundless World domain.
Overwhelmed by sudden exhaustion, Ye Wen stumbled. Bibi Dong and Qian Xue immediately rushed to support him.
Saying nothing, Ye Wen quickly focused on recovering his divine power. After a short while, he managed to restore enough to feel stable again.
"Go help the younger fighters. I'll take care of things here," Ye Wen said quietly.
But Qian Xue insisted, "I'll stay by your side to protect you. With Sister Bibi Dong and Dao Ba, they'll have more than enough to handle those old gods."
Ye Wen, surprised by Qian Xue's defiance her first time disobeying him since becoming a God King smiled with pride, seeing that she had finally emerged from her past doubts.
"Very well," he agreed. "But, Dong'er, Dao Ba, remember: as strong as you are, don't underestimate your enemies."
With confident smiles, Bibi Dong and Dao Ba joined the divine battle below.
What had previously been a balanced confrontation instantly shifted into a one sided slaughter.
The original gods of the God Realm fell rapidly, one after another, in a cascade of defeat.
The Seven Elemental Gods, the Seven Deadly Sins Gods, the God of Slaughter, and the God of Emotions each of these pillars of the God Realm fell one by one, bringing the battle to a swift end.
However, despite the overwhelming advantage, Ye Wen's three hundred god level warriors still suffered losses, with fifty two of them falling to the desperate retaliation of the old gods.
Ye Wen sighed, knowing that death was an inevitable part of war. The original gods of the God Realm were no easy foes, and it was expected that some counterattacks would claim lives.
Thankfully, the fallen warriors' souls had been preserved and could be resurrected later.
Years of rigorous discipline under Ye Wen's command ensured that none of his warriors dared claim the spoils of war for themselves; instead, they respectfully gathered the gods' divine items and placed them before Ye Wen.
"Thank you all for your valor. Go and recover; I will reward you according to your deeds."
"Yes, Lord Ye Wen!"
With the intense battle behind them, the god level warriors were filled with pride and anticipation, knowing that Douluo Star was about to step into a new era. As they returned home, the God Realm fell silent.
Though he had lived in the God Realm for less than a decade, Ye Wen couldn't help but feel a slight attachment to this world.
But as the saying goes, mercy has no place in war, and sentiment has no place in rule.
Though he had once been on decent terms with some of the old gods, there was no reconciling the blood debts between them now. To prevent the old gods from being revived through any means, and to eliminate any future threats, Ye Wen decided to obliterate the God Realm completely.
He had once heard rumors that the Dragon God hadn't truly perished, that its dragon soul still lingered somewhere in the universe, while the Golden Dragon King and Silver Dragon King had been little more than scapegoats.
Before finishing, Ye Wen delved into the God Realm's prison, layering thirty six additional spatial seals around the cocoon of the sealed Golden Dragon King, creating a labyrinthine maze to prevent any chance of escape.
After gathering the last of the spoils, Ye Wen summoned a massive spatial gate, casting the entire God Realm into a temporal storm, shattering it beyond recovery.
Though the God Realm contained precious materials, he preferred to destroy it completely to prevent any hidden schemes from the Dragon God or other gods. He could always build a new God Realm if needed a clean and controlled one.
Having completed his task, Ye Wen felt satisfied with his careful actions.
No mistakes, no regrets, he thought, nodding in self approval.
What was once a grand and powerful God Realm fell within half a day under Ye Wen's calculated strategies, marking the end of the most powerful godly force in this part of the universe and ushering in a new era.
On Douluo Star, the massive mobilization of god level warriors had not escaped the notice of top factions.
Though the divine battle in the God Realm lasted less than half a day, many months had passed on Douluo Star.
Seeing numerous god level warriors return wounded, and noticing familiar faces missing, the top factions of Douluo Star were shocked. What kind of battle could have left these nearly invincible warriors in such a battered state?
Despite their power, many god level warriors had connections with the world below. Ye Wen hadn't restricted information, so news of the divine battle naturally spread.
Martial Soul Masters on Douluo Star, upon hearing about the battle, were stunned to learn that their leaders had waged such a monumental conflict. But above all, they were filled with excitement.
To think that their people had become so strong that they could take on the universe's greatest godly power and win.
As word spread about the God of Hanhai, Ye Wen, more and more details of his deeds emerged.
Although those privy to divine knowledge doubted that Ye Wen was truly a Creator God, his accomplishments nevertheless inspired admiration and, in some cases, reverence. Some even speculated he might be a reincarnation of the Creator God himself.
This belief generated a surge of faith power for Ye Wen.
A year after the god level warriors' return, Ye Wen was still absent.
Then one day
The sky above Douluo Star turned a sacred shade of gold, signaling the arrival of an extraordinary being.
