Over the past few days, through intense daily cultivation, the general managed to upgrade his praising eye.
The first time he attempted to peek into Xavier's status, he couldn't completely break through the system's default concealment.
But with an S-rank praising eye, his insight could easily overwhelm his B-rank concealment.
"It him," he said to Ren.
Having already discussed the ruse, he knew what he was refering to. "So what's the next course of action?"
"Now that we are sure it him, protecting him should be out priority. And we must do so without divulging his identity to anyone, not even him. Speaking of which.."
He streched his arm over his desk and put a call through using the black telephone line by the edge of his table.
He talked for a while and placed the audible end back in place, "There."
"I just sent the investigation squad to examine Xavier's room. So in the mean time if you see anything suspicious, do let me. I have an important meeting attend to of which I am quite late, so I'll be heading out now. Do have a good day."
He crouched, grabbed a little bag from the floor before marching out of the office.
Ren some moments later, left the office.

Outside the Syllox Institution, beyond the shield that kept demons out of the building at night, a cloaked figure based in the night howl.
He had his face turned against the wind but towards the building, which opted the edge of his sombre cloak to dance in the wind.
He had an austere expression on his face, deficient of emotions like joy, happiness, all that it etched was a demeanour likened to death.
He turned his gaze high towards the bright moon which tonight was directly above the Syllox Institution. He listened to the wind whisper, and an ominous voice spoke.
"Have you gotten him?"
That was the voice of his dark mistress, Ravana.
"No, not yet. I had trouble in identifing him but I think I've got him now."
"It's the boy, the one with the scar. Xavier Von."
"Okay, I'll execute him right away."
"Wait!"
His expression morphed with perplexity.
"He is not much of a whimp as you think he is, so exercise caution with him. I propose a strategic approach."
He felt a bit insulted and underestimated yet he decided to pay his respect by grudgingly spouting out a "Yes, ma'am."
The eerie presence departed. He had a swirl of stun and conflift within him. He had never been underestimated in all his years.
'Did the goddess think, he was too much for him to handle? Has she lost confidence in me?'
He grinned in agitation.
"I'll show her."
He drove his cloak through the wind and vanished into a dark fume.

Xavier was approaching his house, his mind still bouncing about on how to lure his assiliant out.
He swore that he could never do anything in a form that would put the owner at risk.
After what happened, he couldn't allow anyone to fall victim like that again in his battle.
On getting to his house, he sighted a group of people standing by his door.
He hurriedly walked up to them and enquired on the purpose of their being the there.
One of the men stepped out who seemed to be the one leading the rest and enquired of his name.
"Xavier Von."
He turned to his crew and whispered "Oh it's him", before turning back to face Xavier.
"Sorry about that. I'm Alex Neckron. We were sent by the General to investigate the recent happening you complained about but we're also asked to keep it on a low profile for some purposes."
As soon as they finished leasing the reason for their presence, he opened up the door and gestureed them in.
They were 5 men present. Two bent down and began unloading some equipment off the bags they brought with them while the other three looked around the room for any absurd sightings.
The two on the floor finished assembling the equipment and it was online.
The device looked more like a remote than a detector. They waved it around the room trying to capture any trace of magic or elemental affinity.
It began to beep slowly and gradually with a greater frequency as he moved towards his bed.
He slowly lowered the device to face the bottom of his bed when it began to beep like crazy.
It beeped for a little more while before it halted and they took their readings.
The formally white screen of the detector tinted steadily into a dark purplish glow.
They were characters written beside the screen as well.
"What!", one of the crew members exclaimed.
The rest of the crew hastily festered round the device all astonished by the unusual levels.
Gasps thrusted through the mouths of some while gaping mouths were satiable for others.
The stare pressed on as if they had made some kind of mistake or that peering any longer would somehow change the results attested.
After what felt like an hour gaze, Alex cleared his throat and turned off the device.
He quickly disassembled it and packed it back into the bag with which they arrived with.
He gatheresyhis team together Ina circle and began taking their inference.
"There are no signals of any break in," one of the members spoke
"Of course, there isn't. Did you see those readings," another member quickly returned.
"Do you think we should let him know?", another member butt in.
"Of course not. He's just in the first year."
"But he deserves to know."
"Ya, but.."
Alex spoke which lit asunder between the arguments. "I think we should tell him."
"But..", the argumentative member persisted but was quickly put off.
"He deserves to know, at least to figure out why he is been targeted."
That statement broke all further statements and drew them all to silence.
The all turned to Xavier a few seconds later but Alex walked up closer, being the one leader it was his burden to present the news to Xavier.
"Xavier. We are daelling with an ...."
