Kaelith opened the door of their dorm, and it creaked. Jaden was seated cross-legged on his bed, a book on his folded legs as he concentrated on it.
"How was the talk?" Kaelith asked, jumping onto his bed. He moved to the wall, resting his back against it with his legs stretched forward.
Jaden removed his focus from the book and looked at Kaelith. A blush crept up his face as he burst into a chuckle. He lifted the book to cover his face and said, "We kissed."
"That's a start…" Kaelith said with a smile, "Of a long story."
"Do you want to hear it?" Jaden asked, his face still hidden behind the book.
"Are you actually asking?" Kaelith mumbled. "Hell yeah!"
"Well, there's nothing much. We just kissed and exchanged numbers, so I can finally call him now and all. And he also likes me back, so that's good," Jaden lied.
Yes, they really had kissed. But more happened.
