Seolhwa wondered what she felt, as she spied on Dylan and Riel. It's been 2 years since they met. He trained her, as she went back and forth between her clans duty and him. She was a cold person, not much of a people's person. Giving anyone weaker than her a cold shoulder. But opened up to Dylan, well she did get beaten by him.
Still, he wasn't someone who was that arrogant, he put up with her personality. She may grew accustomed to his presence, she became closer to him.
They were at a pond relaxing and watching the stars. Seolhwa felt a different emotion steer inside of her.
(What am I feeling....? Could it be?)
She found it silly, sure she liked his company getting even more used to it. Now she looked at this scene before her. Seolhwa might have figured what she was feeling.
"What did you wanted to tell me earlier Riel?"
She had a solemn look on her face, making Dylan reach out to touch her cheek. Riel flinched, then she felt her face flush red.
Riel knew after a decade passed, she had feelings for the man next to her. He was charming, he knew what to say that tongue of his could surely charm any woman.
"The angels, one of them were able to create an offspring to have their bloodline be passed through that woman to give birth of a human with angel powers"
Her tone was grave, she had a look of anger thinking about it. She hid it from Dylan, as the woman who she claimed as her daughter only for some years, died giving birth to the daughter. Her granddaughter.
Riel explained it all, as he knew she was withholding information from him. But didn't push her to reveal it. Letting her say it from her own accord. He didn't know such information from her.
It seemed quite a lot to process.
"So, you became a mother to a human woman"
He found it interesting, she didn't sleep with nobody, just found herself taking that role.
"She's dead, everything the angels wanted wasn't going to their plan....they planned to do something bad to the child....to my granddaughter"
She had a fierce look in her eyes, Riel didn't want anything to happen to her. But she would be going against those that are God's greatest creations. Then again even those angels have long life span they can't reproduce but they did with one angel under extreme circumstances.
His life in exchange for the human woman to carry his life inside of her. None of it was sexual, just the angels life in exchange for her to carry 'his' child inside of her. Since, Angels can't reproduce.
But her talents, her granddaughter talent wasn't up to satisfaction. Riel hid her on earth in the mean time, while she also hunted for any Daeon's.
Killing multiple of them only to know there was a few more. Probably a couple more like in the single digits.
Dylan eyes narrowed, he didn't like what he heard. More so how the angels acted. Honestly, he would leave, but there is something fishy going on. This was also a good place to learn magic, and even train against magic with increasing his endurance.
"You should stop following such orders."
Riel looked away, biting her lips. She wanted to but how could she against many angels and they would go for her granddaughter. Who was still a child, Dylan saw her contemplating.
"Let me help you then."
"Dylan..."
"You going through things, we know of each other....besides you haven't really rat me out to them of my presence"
Riel never revealed of him someone stronger than her. Probably as strong as the Angels with how easily she was defeated.
"I don't know..."
"It might be hard, but have trust and let me shoulder that burden"
She was silent, Riel was happy about that. She would've followed orders if no one was there to support her. Keeping it buried to herself, besides these days Theon has been suspicious and one thing that has happened was the body of Adam was never seen again.
Lilith was here alive and breathing, but she also disappeared under the eyes of the council. Till this past month she had disappeared completely. Making everyone alert to find her.

He smiled and ruffled her head as she smiled. Seolhwa heard it all and she knew of how she felt of Dylan and knew of Riel how she felt of Dylan too. Seolhwa feelings grew stronger even when she acted cold, as she left the scene.
At a more isolated space away from them, her tails popped up. She had eight tails even then, she wasn't able to defeat Dylan. He was strong, unknowingly strong. Seolhwa wondered at what level he was, definitely might be comparable to her clan members.
"What am I to complain..."
She felt complicated, still she was soft being around him. She then clenched her hands.
"I have to stop being passive."
