Camila's POV
"This is nice," I said with a smile, glancing over at Nancy. "Thanks for getting me out of the house."
She smiled back warmly. "You're welcome. I know it's hard to push yourself when you're stressed or worried, but sometimes, a little fresh air can do wonders. A change of scenery shifts everything."
"You're right," I nodded in agreement. "It's easy to get caught in a spiral when you're just stuck inside your own head. This was exactly what I needed."
We continued walking slowly down the sidewalk, the morning sun stretching across the sky. The breeze was light and cool, and I felt a quiet peace settle over me. My thoughts drifted again to Henry but this time, it wasn't with anger or confusion. It was just…wondering. Hoping.
"It's funny," I said, breaking the comfortable silence. "How life throws you curveballs when you least expect them. But maybe that's part of what makes it so meaningful."
