Chapter 24 - Where Cosmos Blushed

Valieon stood at the very edge of the galaxy — a place of endless silence, vast and untouched. A realm of complete nothingness stretched before him.

Valieon (softly): "This... will be perfect."

With a calm swing of his hand, stars lit up the void like fireflies. Cosmic energy pulsed through space, forming shapes — and then, slowly, the beginnings of a system.

Valieon (murmuring): "Let there be a system… a home."

The stars aligned, the planets formed — and right at the center, a radiant star blazed to life — the Sun.

Valieon: "The Sun shall be the source of light and energy. But too close, and they'll burn… too far, and they'll freeze. Let them live in the balance."

He placed a small, blue-green planet in the third position.

Valieon: "This will be Earth… not too close… not too far."

Other planets took their orbits — barren, silent, waiting.

Valieon: "If they ever grow… if they ever learn to leave their cradle… these planets will provide."

He turned to Veridian, who had been quietly standing beside him, his arms folded, watching in awe.

Veridian: "You're really doing it. Creating an entire mortal realm."

Valieon gave a small nod.

Valieon: "We need water first."

Veridian (grinning): "Then let's summon the Aquatic God."

Valieon raised his hand, and from the endless blue depths of the cosmic sea, a god emerged — tall, fluid in form, with hair that flowed like waves and robes that shimmered like the ocean.

Aquatic God Thalarion: "My, my… if it isn't the Cosmic Sovereign. What could possibly bring you to call on me?"

Valieon: "I need you to provide water to this planet."

Thalarion (blinking): "Water? Why?"

Valieon: "The humans I'll design will rely on it for survival."

Thalarion: "That's… odd. How much?"

Valieon: "Seventy percent."

Thalarion (chuckles): "So they live in water?"

Valieon (smirking): "No."

Thalarion (thinking): What is this fool trying to do?

With a slow, graceful motion, Thalarion spun a glowing spiral of moisture in the sky. Rainclouds formed. Oceans took shape. Rivers carved paths. Water was born.

Thalarion: "Will that work?"

Valieon: "Yeah."

Thalarion (mock offended): "No thanks?"

Valieon (dryly): "This is a command from Aureon. You can ask him for gratitude."

Thalarion (grinning): "Cheeky Sovereign. Enjoy your puddles."

And with a bow, he dissolved into mist.

Veridian (smirking): "He's a bit much, isn't he?"

Valieon: "We'll need earth next."

Veridian: "I'll call him."

With a silent wave, Veridian summoned another deity — the Earth God — a figure broad and heavy, with skin of stone and veins of molten gold.

Earth God Goromir: "Who dares call me from my slumber?"

Valieon: "I need you to fill this planet with earth, soil, land. Whatever space water hasn't claimed — make it whole."

Goromir (grumbling): "Fine."

He stomped his feet, and with each step, continents rose. Mountains erupted, valleys dipped, islands cracked into form.

Goromir: "Done."

Valieon (genuinely): "Thank you."

Goromir (grunts): "You're welcome. Don't ruin it."

He vanished in a quake of stone.

Veridian looked at the planet — now shining blue and brown beneath the cosmic sun.

Veridian: "You'll need energy… life essence."

Valieon: "Yes. Now comes the hard part. I'll go speak to Aureon."

Veridian: "Go. I'll wait here."

Valieon stepped through a portal and arrived at the gates of the Prime Realme — the shining city of the gods, made of stardust and light.

Just as he was about to enter, he paused — because standing at the door was Veronica.

Veronica: "Hey, Cosmic Sovereign."

Valieon immediately turned red.

Valieon: "H-Hey! Uh-huh…"

Veronica (smiling mischievously): "Why are you fumbling?"

Valieon: "I-I'm not! I mean— maybe— no?"

Veronica: "You do realize I'm the daughter of the Prime God, right?"

Valieon: "..."

Veronica: "Which means I can get whatever I want…"

Valieon: "..."

Veronica (grinning): "Even if I want to read someone's mind…"

Valieon (panicking): "Wait— no— no— don't call her— please no—!"

Veronica (calling out): "Tina!"

Valieon (gibberish): "N-N-#%$&!?@#—💀🌀@!n0-th-tha-that-🍞🥵I—!?"

Veronica (laughs): "Why are you shaking, mighty Cosmic Sovereign?"

Valieon (still glitching): "I'm not! This is… uh… gravitational trembling!"

Veronica (grabbing his hand): "Come with me."

Valieon (mind screaming): Oh dear Void, I can't breathe—she touched my hand—

She pulled him along the corridor, ignoring his frozen face, and led him into a lavish room lit by a thousand suns.

Valieon (muttering nonsense): "I-I-wha-🌌🚨🚪-I think I'm—brain—goodbye—"

Veronica (laughing): "You're so dramatic."

She stepped closer, the playful glint in her eyes fading into something deeper.

Veronica (quietly): "I… I have something to tell you."

Valieon stopped spinning.

Valieon (softly): "What is it?"

She looked down, then back at him.

Veronica: "I really like you."

Valieon's eyes widened. The chaos in his brain went silent.

Valieon: "Is… is this a prank?"

Veronica (shaking her head): "No."

Valieon (smiling nervously): "I… I think I like you too."

There was a pause. A breath shared in silence.

Then, Veronica leaned in and kissed him.

Valieon froze — then slowly, gently, kissed her back.

Time itself seemed to pause in that moment. The gods above, the stars in the distance — everything faded.

It was just them.

The Cosmic Sovereign.

And the daughter of the Prime God.
