Chapter 113 - Chapter 113 – The Spy and The Siren

Xuan Tian was listening intently when he saw Gu Tianzhu glancing at him briefly. He only raised his eyebrows, encouraging him to continue.

Gu Tianzhu exhaled slightly and continued, "Mu Shengzun ended the meeting with a note for us to find a way. I went back to my hall and called my inner disciples. It was then Ling Yu gave us the idea to infiltrate Lingxu by going undercover as Lingxu disciple."

He turned to Ling Yu, proudly said, "It was Ling Yu who gave us news of Captain Bai's location and we decided to rescue her."

Ling Yu grinned back at her Shizun. "I wasn't put on any duty tonight. So, I decided I would go and rescue Captain Bai. Only me and Li Ran have the token that can pass the barrier. I sent news to Shizun after we managed to get Captain Bai out of the dungeon. That's why he and Shixiongs can find us here."

Xuan Tian looked at Ling Yu, "You… You managed to get in?"

Ling Yu, still grinning, nodded. She took out her disciple token and showed it to Xuan Tian, "I am now one of the outer disciples of Azure Mist Peak. Jian Wushuan is the head of this peak. All of outer disciples are here in the capital. Helping Jian Wushuan running the Alliance."

Xuan Tian gave back her disciple token. "Good work."

"I know," she replied, the grin never left.

Han Zhaofeng exhaled loudly. "Impressive, Gu Zhenren."

Gu Tianzhu bowed slightly, "You flatter me, Han Shengzun. Ling Yu is not the only one. Li Ran is also undercover. For some reason, Lingxu only accepted disciples lower than Mid Immortal 1. Both Li Ran and Ling Yu are at that level. While the rest of us can't go in. We can only help them from the outside."

"I wasn't on any duty too. They are very careful on who they put on guarding duty tonight." Li Ran offered the information.

Han Zhaofeng asked, "How long have they been infiltrating?"

"We only managed to infiltrate the last three months," Ling Yu replied.

Li Ran added, "That's right. We've been trying to get in for about one year, before they accepted us. Ling Yu Shimei even delayed her cultivation in order to get in."

Han Zhaofeng nodded, "You are better than ICEB members. Really impressive work. I am ashamed."

Gu Tianzhu bowed slightly, "Han Shengzun, really. Thank you. This is all we can do. We don't know what to do next. Luckily, we met you here. With this, we, Ziyu, can officially offer our help!"

Han Zhaofeng saluted. "We officially accept your much-needed help!"

The room's atmosphere lightened. Everyone was at ease and comfortable. The Enforcers were visibly relieved.

"Are there any information about Lingxu and Jian Wushuan that we should know?" Xuan Tian asked both Li Ran and Ling Yu.

They looked at each other. Li Ran answered, "Actually, we haven't got any important information. We just got in three months ago. As I said, they are very careful in selecting who's doing what. But one thing we know for sure—the Crown Prince is with them."

The ICEB officials leaned in.

Han Zhaofeng said, "What makes you say that?"

"Both of us are current recruits. Our duties are only guarding the Alliance office, which is small and just a front. Jian Wushuan never uses it. This duty is rotated. And if we're not guarding, we're patrolling. This duty is rotated too. Every disciple does it. The more senior you are, the more complex your duty becomes. Sometimes we get paired with senior disciples who have more responsibilities than us," Li Ran began to explain.

"One time, I was paired with two senior disciples on patrol. Both of them had injuries—one on the arm, the other was limping from a leg injury."

"When I asked what happened, they just smiled bitterly. I thought they must've been punished by Jian Wushuan. But I overheard them whispering, 'I don't want to go back to His Highness. Let's not take healing pills.'" Li Ran finished and looked at Ling Yu.

Ling Yu nodded. "That night, we exchanged information. I told him I also overheard a senior say she was going to deliver food to His Highness, but she was afraid he would grab her. I don't really understand."

She turned to Gu Tianzhu. "We haven't managed to inform you of this, Shizun. We only got the information yesterday."

Gu Tianzhu smiled. "Don't worry about it. You've already done a great job."

Han Zhaofeng can be seen disturbed after hearing the news about Mu Yiran.

"Han Shengzun, what does it mean?" Wu Zhenhai asked dumbfoundedly.

Han Zhaofeng stayed silent.

------------------------------

A Lingxu disciple entered a room, carrying a tray with teapots and teacups on it. She was wearing a light blue dress, with Lingxu disciple token on her waist.

She put the teapots and cups onto the table. She curtsied, turned around, and left the room.

Another disciple stepped forward, pouring tea into two cups, and placed them in front of the two seated opposite each other. The disciple curtsied, and left.

A slender feminine hand picked up a cup and brought it to the owner's mouth. The hand was white and flawless like a premium quality snow jade. The lips pouted sensually and touched the cup's rim. Tea slowly flowed into her mouth. A drop of tea escaped, slid down her throat, and continued between the two flawless snow jade mounds of her chest.

The delicate line of her throat rippled faintly as the tea passed through.

Jian Wushuan, who was sitting in front of her, gripped his cup tightly, watched as she lifted her cup to her mouth. His eyes followed the single drop of tea sliding down and disappearing between her chest. And gulped as she swallowed her tea.

Jian Wushuan's gaze returned to her chest as he watched silently while it rose and fell. His breath was getting quicker, his heartbeat was getting faster. His grip tightened.

The woman glanced at Jian Wushuan, noticed Jian Wushuan's breath hitched, and let out a breathy laugh.

The cup in Jian Wushuan's hand broke to pieces and tea was dripping onto the table and him. And it saved Jian Wushuan from humiliating himself further.

"Ah, look how clumsy I am." Jian Wushuan said with a sheepish laugh. "Forgive me, Su Shengzun."

The woman, Su Lianhua, the head of Bewitching Lotus Peak of Lingxu Sect, smiled elegantly and said, "It is not a problem, Jian Shengzun." Her voice ringing melodically, carrying hypnotic effect.

"Hahaha," Jian Wushuan laughed heartily. He flicked his hand and the cup's pieces disappeared along with the spilled tea. Another cup appeared on the table. Jian Wushuan lifted the teapot and filled Su Lianhua's cup and his own.

"How's the Crown Prince? Is he behaving?" Su Lianhua asked, lifting her cup.

Jian Wushuan nodded, "Thanks to your disciple, Rou Yanyan. She's truly worthy to be called your number 1 disciple."

Su Lianhua nodded slowly, "She is one of my best. I hope Yan'er can help you, Jian Shengzun."

Jian Wushuan stroked his beard slowly. "Rou Yanyan is excellent, it's Mu Yiran I'm worried about. I am here in this boring capital because of him. To help him get rid of Mu Cangtian and ascend the throne. And yet, look at him, spending his days drinking, and enjoying beauties. He expects me to do everything."

Su Lianhua exhaled slowly, "I am sorry, Jian Shengzun. I truly am. I was shocked when Xu Ming Shengzun took him as his inner disciple. Xu Ming Shengzun never taken a disciple before. And now that Little Boy Mu Yiran acted like the whole Lingxu is his."

Su Lianhua extended her arm, her middle finger touched Jian Wushuan's back of his hand.

"I never wish that Xu Ming Shengzun would send you." Her finger traced slow, seductive circles.

"I came here to make sure you don't suffer, Jian Shengzun." She peeked through her long, curly lashes.

Jian Wushuan caught Su Lianhua's hand, inhaling its scent before kissing it.

"Your Lust Petal Art is getting stronger. Have you leveled up?"

Su Lianhua disappeared, and reappeared sitting on Jian Wushuan's lap. Her finger traced Jian Wushuan's jawline.

"Wushuan, you are very observant," she whispered into his ear.
