Morvessa didn't say a word.

She just took a few steps back, sat behind a tree, hugged her knees—and covered her body with her wings.

But Nathan saw it…

That pale slit—still glistening.

Wet, reflecting the morning light like a freshly consecrated altar.

Nathan lowered his head briefly and exhaled.

"Why is it always like this…" he whispered inwardly.

But he couldn't be mad.

He knew this world had been strange since the first day he entered the tower.

Absurdity was just part of breakfast now.

He stood up. His pants were already pulled back on, though his Private Blade was still a bit soft and throbbing—like it was protesting the event being cut short.

His gaze finally shifted to Validia.

The horned girl stood calmly, face unreadable, even though her body… had changed.

She was taller than Nathan now.

Her skin no longer shimmered, but looked more natural. Her body was no longer wrapped in that semi-naked two tiny fabrics. She looked… normal.
