Though the procedure lasted only a few minutes, it felt like centuries to Huang Jiuji.

Finally, the flames subsided as Huang Jiuji's soul completely fused with the Dou Saint's body. Sensing this, Xiao Tiance removed his hand from Xiao Yan's shoulder, signaling the completion of the process.
Xiao Yan, drenched in sweat, wiped his brow. "Ancestor, the revival was successful. Now we just have to wait for Senior Huang to awaken."
Though exhilarated by the process, Xiao Yan felt a pang of loss as Xiao Tiance withdrew his Dou Qi. It was as if he'd briefly held immense power, only to lose it.

The Rebirth of Huang Jiuji
Suddenly, Huang Jiuji sat up, exhaling deeply as his aura erupted.
His power skyrocketed, advancing rapidly: Dou Practitioner, Dou Master, Dou Grandmaster, Dou Spirit… Dou Emperor, Dou Venerable, Dou Saint!
Within moments, Huang Jiuji's strength reached the peak of the eight star Dou Saint level, just shy of his former peak.

"The body's physical strength is somewhat lacking, but it's more than enough," Huang Jiuji replied, shaking his head in satisfaction. Turning to Xiao Yan and Yao Chen, he added, "Huang Jiuji thanks you both, young friends."
Xiao Yan was momentarily stunned. Being addressed as a "young friend" alongside Yao Chen, who was considered an old monster by many, felt surreal.
Xiao Tiance chuckled. "Huang Jiuji is from the Sky Phoenix Clan, a being who's lived since ancient times. Calling you both 'young friends' is entirely accurate."
