Chapter 423 [Good Mountains, Good Water, Good Cultivation]
From its form, it appears to be a wild Burmese python.
It likely originally grew on this mountain peak as a wild creature, and after Xie Jiuyan passed away and Wu left, this cave became vacant.
Originally, such wild animals lack intelligence. These ordinary wild pythons have a lifespan of only about twenty to thirty years. Generally speaking, wild Burmese pythons grow to about five meters in length, with some artificially bred ones reaching eight or ten meters.
But this python seems to be particularly lucky, growing on this mountain peak and being contained within by Xie Jiuyan while he was alive, using the Hidden Mountain Array—there's a stalactite inside the mountain belly emitting Primordial Qi, which is also enclosed by the Hidden Mountain Array and cannot disperse, making this mountain peak region a "Primordial Qi sealed box."
