Deku pov
That morning, I woke up at 6 a.m., feeling sweaty and sticky from the humidity that hung in the air like a thick blanket. The faint light filtering through my curtains hinted at another hot day ahead. I struggled to remember my dream clearly, but it felt more like a long-lost memory of a man dressed in vibrant purple. His face was hazy, but I had the unsettling feeling that he was my father—a figure I've been longing to know more about. Mom never talks about him anymore, and whenever I mention his name, a shadow washes over her face. I'm not sure about the events surrounding my birth, but I often sense an underlying tension whenever it's brought up. It's as if that part of my history is a closed chapter—there are no pictures of him anywhere in the house, only the kind of emptiness that raises questions. I swung my legs out of bed, determined to get ready for another day of training. Katchan wouldn't hesitate to express his annoyance if I were late; he was demanding, but I knew he pushed me because he believed in my potential. Our bond had grown stronger over time, even though he'd been going easy on me lately. With Mom still asleep—at least, I couldn't hear her stirring—it meant I was technically sneaking out to train. I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness as I thought about what lay ahead. I hopped in the shower, feeling the warm water cascade over my body. The heat of the water felt invigorating against my skin, washing away the stickiness and the remnants of restless sleep. I took a moment to breathe deeply, letting the steam envelop me. After thoroughly scrubbing my hair and body, I rinsed off, letting the water carry away any lingering fatigue. Stepping out of the shower, I grabbed my towel and dried off quickly, mentally preparing for the challenges that awaited me. Just then, I heard a soft knock on the door. "Izuku, get ready to go train! Breakfast is on the table!" Mom called out cheerfully, her voice cutting through the last remnants of my drowsiness. "Okay, Mom, I'm getting ready!" I replied, excitement bubbling in my chest as I thought about the day ahead. At the same time, I thought, "Huh, she normally isn't up this early, I wonder why she is..." I put my shirt, pants, and training gloves on, ready for today. When I walk out of the bathroom, the smell hits me, the smell of pancakes, sausage, and eggs, my favorite breakfast meal. I walk over to the dinner table. "Hey, Mom, what's the occasion?" I asked, and she said, "I know how much you wanted to meet your father, so I may have set up a meeting with him for you after training." My jaw dropped. I was really gonna meet my father for the first time?" I wonder what he's like, what he wears." I kept rummble with questions in my mind because I am an over-thinker
